Florence Pugh has confirmed she is as single as a Pringle.
The actress was dating Zach Braff, but the couple called it quits at the beginning of the year.
They first sparked romance rumors in 2019, and their 20-year age gap was a hot topic of discussion throughout their years-long relationship.
Pugh is 26 while Braff is 47.
Florence & Zach Have Called It Quits!
In a new interview with Harpers BAZAAR, Pugh confirmed the couple decided to go their separate ways in private.
"We've been trying to do this separation without the world knowing, because it's been a relationship that everybody has an opinion on," she explained, “We just felt something like this would really do us the benefit of not having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we're not together. So we've done that."
As previously mentioned, their age gap and overall relationship was criticized by the masses on social media and in the tabloids.
Pugh defended their relationship on numerous occasions, but that didn’t stop the internet from bad mouthing them.
She got candid about how much attention their relationship attracted.
Florence's Private Life Isn't A Reality TV Show
"Whenever I feel like that line has been crossed in my life, whether it's paparazzi taking private moments, or moments that aren't even real, or gossip channels that encourage members of the public to share private moments of famous people walking down the street, I think it's incredibly wrong," Pugh shared. "I don't think that people, just because they have this job, that every aspect of their life should be watched and written about. We haven't signed up for a reality TV show."
However, this isn’t the last we will see of Pugh and Braff together.
The former couple has a movie coming out in 2023.
“A Good Person” was written by Braff and stars Pugh. The exes will have to make red carpet appearances and do the media rounds to promote the film.
Good thing they seem to be on good terms.
Zach & Florence Have A Movie Coming Out In 2023
"The movie that we made together genuinely was probably one of my most favorite experiences," Pugh admitted. “It felt like a very natural and easy thing to do."
Earlier this year, Pugh was at the center of a false love story with British actor Will Poulter.
The “Don’t Worry Darling” actress spent time with Poulter and other friends on a tropical getaway in Ibiza.
Of course, given that the beach calls for next to nothing clothing, and she’s a famous actress with famous friends, the rumor mill is churned out romance rumors.
Pugh, Poulter and several close friends were photographed by paps in Ibiza. The photos showcased Florence and Will in the water together seemingly having a one-on-one chat.

The pictures of the two of them went viral, and this sent the internet into a frenzy.
Florence got wind of the rumors circulating and decided to take matters into her own two hands and addressed them on Instagram.
On Tuesday, May 24, she wrote on her IG Story, “Oooookay. Man. This is getting a little silly now. No, Will Poulter and I are not dating. We went to the beach with our friends, who are always about half a metre away from us in ever picture, but have been cleverly cut out/ framed out so that it looks otherwise. You can LITERALLY see my best friend in the corner of so many shots and Archie’s arms at the sides.”
Pugh explained she gets that’s the nature of the Hollywood beast, but doesn’t appreciate the fabricated story.
“I understand that the nature of this job is that you sometimes get your privacy completely bulldozed by paparazzi, but to fabricate this stuff actually does more damage than good. Thanks for saying we look sexy… doesn’t mean we’re doing the sexy.”
The Blast recently reported Poulter has a new girlfriend.
