Here's How Meghan Markle Is Reportedly Feeling Now That She's Back In Canada

A certain section of the world claimed that Meghan Markle absolutely hated being a duchess. Some people in the British press -- and in the general public -- claimed Duchess Meghan was just too progressive and carefree to fit into the carefully curated vibe of the Royal Family.

The perpetrators of these rumors also blamed Meghan for convincing Prince Harry to step down from the palace, claiming she was seeking fame. Harry would disagree with these statements, but sources do claim Meghan is having a great time in Canada.

Anonymous sources claim Duchess Meghan had a lot of problems with the way Queen Elizabeth II expects her Royal Family members to behave. Reports claim Duchess Meghan was uncomfortable with the royal dress code, which is said to include dresses below the knee for women, which Meghan is claimed to have called sexist.

Duchess Meghan is also said to have been very uncomfortable with having servants while in the UK. Sources said she was not a fan of having people drive her around and close her car doors for her.

Things aren't all bad for the Duchess of Sussex, however. These anonymous sources also say she is much happier now that she can take more control over her life in Canada. Reports say Meghan is more comfortable in casual clothes. Photos of Meghan in boots and leggings recently cropped up when paparazzi spotted the Duchess on a hike with her son.

Reports also say Meghan is happy to be able to work for herself again. They say she has been doing her own driving and shopping and is loving the change.

Having a normal life has been a major focus for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. When the couple announced their intentions to leave the palace, they cited their son, Archie's, future and wellbeing as motivation for the change.

Of course, being normal also means being private, which the Sussexes would also like to achieve. Harry and Meghan warned the photographers of the hiking photos to stay away from their family, claiming the paparazzi had been hiding outside of their home and driving recklessly.

This doesn't mean Duchess Meghan will remain out of the spotlight forever. Sources say she has a lot of interest in the Hollywood industry. Execs are reportedly dying for the Duchess to call them up for a part, though the logistics of hiring security are reportedly an issue.

Meghan is currently signed on to provide voiceover work for Disney, marking a return to Hollywood after ending her role on Suits in 2018. Prince Harry managed to snag the role for his wife, pitching her talents directly to Disney's CEO Bob Iger.
