Vanessa Hudgens: 'Thirsty Thursday' Thirst Trap

Following her recent split from longtime beau, Austin Butler, Vanessa Hudgens took to Instagram to share a sexy swimsuit picture for "Thirsty Thursday". The former Disney star posed in a the black, form-fitted one piece with both hands placed on top of her head, while she gave a sultry stare to the camera. Hudgens captioned the photo with, "#thirstythursday y’all lol I don’t really have many pics that qualify so not sure how long this will last but for now, we wet" and added the "laughing cat" emoji.

In addition, the actress also shared a black and white photo of her wading poolside, with the caption, "Oh... it’s Thursday... anyone knows what the means?????"

The provocative posts come shortly after Hudgens and Butler reportedly ended their eight-year-long relationship. Being that the couple has seemingly remained solid over the years, the split came as a shock to fans. It had even been rumored that the pair were engaged just before the announcement of their break up came to light.

According to an insider at E!News, Butler and Hudgens decided to call it quits due to the difficulties of maintaining a long-distance relationship. The source told E!, ""They're just shooting on two different continents and it's a matter of distance...There is no bad blood at all, and they have a lot of respect for each other." At the time of the split, Hudgens had been overseas filming her new movie, "The Princess Switch 2" while Butler has been prepping for his leading role in a film following the life of Elvis Presley.

Upon Butler learning that he had landed the role of "Elvis" in his upcoming production, Hudgens wrote, ""I AMMMM OVERRRR THE F--KING MOOOOOOOOONNNNN...I CANT WAIT SO PROUD OF MY HONEYYYYY!!!"

Just a few days later, while attending the premier of "Once Upon A Time in Hollywood", Butler shared some kind words for his then-girlfriend saying, "It's hard for me to even put into words what that girl means to me...I am so inspired by her every day and I just love her to my core."

Just a few weeks before their split was made public, Hudgens had reportedly told Cosmopolitan UK in regards to her relationship that, "It's eight years this year – FaceTime, good communication, respect and trust [are what keep us going]...The longest we've been apart was four months. It sucks! You start hating hearing yourself say 'I miss you.' But if it's your person, you make it work. While the pair have yet to make a reconciliation, fans are still holding out for a Butler-Hudgens reunion, sooner rather than later.
