Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Settlement Agreement: No Money Will Change Hands

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have officially ended their marriage, and according to their divorce settlement, neither one of them will give a dime to the other person.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Miley and Liam have agreed that none of the money either of them made while married was "community property." Plus, both of them owned their own property BEFORE they got married.

The settlement agreement was signed by both of the stars and filed with the L.A County Court.

The settlement reads, "The Parties mutually agree there are no community property assets or liabilities created during luring their marriage. All property in either party’s name, tangible and intangible and wherever located, or in which he/she has a legal or beneficial interest, is the sole and separate property of that party and all debts and liabilities related to or arising from the separate property of a party hereto are the debts and liabilities of that party, whether or not incurred during the Parties’ marriage."

The deal is also specific about any money made by either of them while they were married.

As you can imagine, both Miley and Liam are highly successful actors and musicians. So, both of them had quite the fortune before meeting each other.

The Blast

It continues, "The Parties mutually agree there is no community property income, whether received, accrued or deferred arising from their marriage. All income earned at any time by either party is the sole and separate property of that party and all liabilities related to that income, including tax liabilities, are the sole and separate obligation of the party earning the income."

The ex-couple never had any kids, so child support is not an issue. The only other cash that would change hands would be spousal support. But, they both agreed to waive that right too.

As we reported, the couple also signed an iron-clad prenup before tying the knot.

The document says, "The Parties hereto each forever and irrevocably waive the right to seek or receive spousal support from the other. The Parties acknowledge and understand that such waiver of support is permanent and final."

Interestingly, even though it's normal for every divorce settlement, both Miley and Liam's autographs are on the final negotiated deal.

As we reported, Miley and Liam were married on December 23, 2018, and have both agree they date of separation was June 12, 2019.

Liam filed for divorce, August 21, 2019.
