Martha Stewart Calls Pete Davidson 'The Son I Never Had' Following WILD Claims Of An Affair'

TV personality, Martha Stewart has laughed off claims about having an affair with Pete Davidson.

The American retail businesswoman, who recently launched her new restaurant, The Bradford, was linked with the comedian when a photo of her and Davidson from months ago went viral.

The picture in question was taken at the White House correspondents' dinner with Davidson and his ex-boo Kim Kardashian in attendance. Stewart was seen holding hands with the comedian in the photo, which fanned the flame of the alleged connection following his recent split from Kardashian.

In response to the rumors, Stewart has revealed that her relationship with Davidson is platonic, adding that the comedian was like a son to her.

The octogenarian recently dismissed claims that she and Davidson had a romantic connection following the comedian's split from Kim Kardashian. Per Daily Mail, the rumors that Davidson had a thing with Stewart came after a recent picture of her and the former "SNL" star went viral.

"Pete Davidson is like the son I never had," Stewart told the publication, laughing off the claims. "He is a charming boy who is finding his way. I've invited him to come on my podcast, and I look forward to hearing what he has to say."

Stewart was seen posing for the camera and holding hands with the comedian in the fan-posted shot. Kardashian, who was clad in a shimmering silver outfit and stood to Davidson's right, was also visible in the photo.

Davidson had dated the reality star for nine months but parted ways amicably. The couple's hectic schedule prevented them from maintaining their connection which led to the breakup.

Regarding how Stewart took a picture with the comedian and his ex-boo, she had revealed a few months ago on the "Today" show how she met the pair at the White House Correspondents' Dinner held earlier in the year.

"I was at the Daily Mail table, and we saw them coming in, and I went over to them," she said, per People. "I know both. You know, Pete and I were on the Justin Bieber roast years ago. That's when I first met him. He's an adorable guy. He's funny and nice and pleasant. And Kim looked gorgeous, as usual. Very jealous of her, of course. And we just stood and had our pictures taken."

In light of Davidson and Kardashian's recent breakup, it's easy to see why the photo, first posted a few months ago by Stewart, has regained the spotlight. It has since garnered over 44,000 likes on the fan's Twitter page.

Despite being over 50 years older than the comedian, Stewart quickly gained notoriety as Davidson's alleged beau because of his propensity for courting prominent celebrities. But it's clear from Stewart's recent reaction that the hand holding was just a pleasant gesture and had no hidden purpose.

Stewart is a massive admirer of Davidson's work, even though she may not be romantically interested in him. She recently praised his ascent to prominence while chipping in a remark about his relationships with celebrities like Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale, and Phoebe Dynevor.

"Seven years ago, I was on the stage with a young upstart named Pete who was doing comedy on Saturday night live now that same Pete is all grown up, squiring gorgeous women around and appearing everywhere," she wrote in May 1 post on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Stewart recently celebrated the grand opening of her new restaurant, The Bedford in Las Vegas, after months of preparation for its launch. The event, which was held on Friday night, had her good friends Ellen Pompeo and Snoop Dogg in attendance.

The opening celebration displayed a massive dessert buffet with a broad selection of the icon's favorites, such as shrimp towers caviar, crab cakes, burgers, and salads. Stewart's wine, Martha's Chard, was also offered to guests to go with the assortment of foods.

Per Daily Mail, Sean McBurney of Caesars Palace assisted Martha in creating the concept for The Bedford. The restaurant will also offer a variety of food, including American cuisine.

"It's a wonderful restaurant; it is an extension of my farmhouse in Bedford, New York, except the space is three times bigger than my home," the lifestyle icon told the publication.
