Kendall Jenner has fallen under fire for an Instagram video appearing to allude to an aircraft – on Tuesday night, the 24-year-old supermodel took to the platform in selfie mode from her bathroom as she showed off her super-long arms in a video simply captioned "wingspan."

The video – which you can see here – showed the reality star and model standing in an all-black wardrobe and amid a marbled bathrooom as she held a smartphone in one hand and stretched her free arm above herself. Kendall then moved her arm to the side.

For some fans, the video and "wingspan" caption came way too soon after Kobe Bryant's death.

Initial responses to Kendall's video mostly proved positive. As The Blast documented, the video racked up an insane 1 million views in just 12 minutes, with early fan comments throwing Kendall praise over her beauty and slender frame.

The tune seems to have changed, with The Mirror documenting a series of angry responses dubbing the model's update as inappropriate.

Kobe Bryant was tragically killed at the age of 41 on Sunday along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others as the helicopter they were flying in burst into flames.

"Wow! I knew the Kardashian's were dumb as f--k but this is just a step too far. Helicopter arms??? Are you actually serious?!" one fan wrote.

The backlash took many forms, but the message from angered users seemed to be united.

"You're Instagram page needs to be shut down. Why would you post a long limbed NBA player-like video. And caption it this?" one fan wrote.

"That’s kind of inappropriate considering what just happened," another added.

Meanwhile, some fans seemed out to calm the waters, or, at the very least, defend the model.

"Get over it you know she wasn’t referring to that" was one reply, with another user saying that "helicopters don't even have wings."

Sister Kim Kardashian was amid the many (many) celebrities leaving tributes to Kobe and thoughts for the basketball player's wife Vanessa.

"My heart is so heavy. No one should ever experience what the families involved are going through. This has affected us all so much but I cannot begin to imagine what Vanessa is feeling losing her husband and her baby girl. I cry just thinking about it. I am praying for the Bryant family, the Altobelli family and the families of all who perished in this unthinkable tragedy. Rest In Peace Legend," Kim wrote.
