It seems the drama between Kevin Federline and Britney Spears is not over quite yet.

The former couple was married from 2004 to 2007 and share two teenage sons. However, it seems Britney has a complicated relationship with her sons, as she revealed in a since-deleted Instagram post that her sons are looking to distance themselves from her.

K-Fed didn't seem to like what she said in her post and shared three videos of Britney on Instagram, which he says her sons recorded when they were 11 and 12 years old.

A source told Page Six that both Kevin Federline and the boys are worried that Britney's mental health is going "unchecked" since her 13-year conservatorship ended in November 2021.

The source alleged that Kevin “and the boys are upset. They worry that everyone is completely ignoring the fact that Britney is [battling mental issues], which is not a secret.”

The source claims that this is why Kevin did a bombshell interview with the Daily Mail, alleging that Britney's sons want to keep their distance from her due to her NSFW Instagram photos.

However, a source for Britney Spears called his recent comments both “pathetic and inexcusable.”

Kevin Federline Took Down The Instagram Videos

The three videos that Kevin posted to Instagram make it seem like he is trying to paint her in an unflattering light. In one video, Britney gets heated with her sons for not respecting her. In another, Britney says she is taking her son's phone away after he seems to have gone barefoot in a store in "Alaska weather."

In the caption, Kevin wrote, “I can not sit back and let my sons be accused in this way after what they’ve been through. As much as it hurts us, we decided as a family to post these videos. This isn’t even the worst of it. The lies have to stop. I hope our kids grow up to be better than this.”

A source told Page Six that Kevin's decision to post “the videos wasn’t about making her seem evil or mean, but more about reminding people that she legitimately has a mental illness and [Federline and the sons] worry it is going unchecked.”

However, a former boyfriend of Britney Spears - who chose not to be identified by name - doesn't believe that Kevin had good intentions when he shared those videos.

Apparently, an ex-boyfriend of Britney didn't have nice things to say about K-Fed, although fans are wondering who this ex-boyfriend could possibly be.

“Kevin’s a nice guy, but he’s a loser,” the ex-boyfriend told the outlet. “It was really hard for Britney and I to be out with them and Britney knew she was paying them all this money and they were free to live their lives and spend her money as they saw fit while she was under a conservatorship and a small allowance."

"When the kids turn 18 the money is over and Kevin is up s--- creek," he added, speculating that Kevin might even be taking money from Britney's father, Jamie Spears, who was one of the primary figures responsible for managing Britney's strict conservatorship.

However, Jamie’s attorney, Alex Weingarten, told the outlet that “Jamie has not spoken to Kevin or his grandsons in almost 3 years. There is zero truth to any of this.”

In a statement to TMZ, Britney's attorney slammed the video leak as "abhorrent" and indicated that they might be seeking legal action against him.

In the statement, Rosengart wrote, “Britney Spears is a brilliantly-talented, extremely-hardworking icon, who is rightfully beloved and respected by millions around the world. The same, unfortunately, cannot be said about Mr. Federline, who for reasons that are inexplicable, decided to give a gratuitous interview that has hurt the mother of his children.”

“Britney has faithfully supported her children she loves them dearly,” Rosengart continued. “Whether he realizes it or not, Mr. Federline has not only violated the privacy and dignity of the mother of his children, he has undermined his own children, whose privacy he should protect. Putting aside his ITV interview, Mr. Federline’s ill-advised decision to post an old video of his 11 and 12 year old children was cruel, bottom of the barrel stuff. It was abhorrent.”

He added,  “In addition to demeaning himself and violating societal norms, he has now also created various legal issues for himself including, but not limited to, implicating cyber-harassment and cyber-bullying statues, among other things.”
