Anne Heche can't seem to catch a break!

Things are not looking so favorable for the "Volcano" actress since her latest accident and hospitalization, as new information about her body contents before the crash and the state of her condition has been revealed.

In TMZ's narrative, results from her blood test have now been released, showing that she was not under the influence of alcohol, as was earlier assumed, but two other highly addictive substances.

Upon testing the blood drawn from Heche when she was admitted to the hospital following the vehicular incident, the LAPD found cocaine and fentanyl in her system. Even so, sources explain that fentanyl is often used as a pain med in hospitals, so more testing and investigation will need to be done to determine if the substance was in her system at the time of the collision.

Speaking on her condition, the accident left the actress with burns as a result of the fire that started after she crashed into the home of Lynne Mishele. Previous information released through Heche's rep stated that she was in stable condition. However, the "Spread" actress' situation has since taken a turn for the worse.

According to a report by PEOPLE, a rep revealed that the Emmy-winning actress had suffered a catastrophic brain injury, leaving her with a grim prognosis. In their words:

"Unfortunately, due to her accident, Anne suffered a severe anoxic brain injury and remains in a coma, in critical condition. She is not expected to survive."

The spokesperson then talked about Heche's wish to be an organ donor upon her death, and plans are in place to preserve the organs that were still viable. The rep then touched on the show of support and care that Heche, 53, had received since the unfortunate incident saying:

"We want to thank everyone for their kind wishes and prayers for Anne's recovery and thank the dedicated staff and wonderful nurses that cared for Anne at the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills hospital."

As for her legacy, the representative spoke on behalf of the family and believed the actress' "huge heart" and "generous spirit" made her touch everyone she encountered, adding, "More than her extraordinary talent, she saw spreading kindness and joy as her life's work — especially moving the needle for acceptance of who you love. She will be remembered for her courageous honesty and dearly missed for her light."

The "Fatal Desire" Actress' Unfortunate Car Crash

On August 5, 2022, the news went up all over the media that Heche had been involved in an accident. The Blast shared that video footage showed the "Catfight" star speeding down the street in her blue Mini Cooper. The accident that initially caught the attention of everyone due to the fire it started was not the only crash that day. The car had previously caused damage to a garage at an apartment complex.

Witnesses revealed that bystanders tried to assist the actress after the first crash, but she pulled the car out of the complex and sped off. However, she did not make it far until she crashed into a home, causing a fire outbreak that wrecked the car and the said home.

The "Return to Paradise" star was left in a severe condition that prevented investigators from conducting any tests to determine what happened. Nevertheless, it was reported that a red-capped bottle was seen next to the gearshift, which appeared to be an alcohol bottle, thereby prompting the assumption she was intoxicated with alcohol while driving.

Fans, fellow stars, and exes alike have shown a massive outpouring of love towards Heche since her accident, and everyone still hopes for the best!
