On Sunday, the world lost Los Angeles legend and Laker king, Kobe Bryant and his young daughter Gianni Bryant. They were on a helicopter that crashed, killing another family and the pilot onboard. The two Bryants were survived by wife and mother Vanessa Bryant and their other three daughters.

Everyone has been in shock, a veil of death over LA. Friends of Bryant's, fellow celebrities, have been sending their tributes and condolences to the Bryant family. Here are a few of the many.

Shaquille "Shaq" O'Neil's son Shareef O' Neil posted on Twitter that their longtime family friend and honorary uncle messaged him before his death. Bryant messaged the young man "You good?" catching up with him and checking in.

O'Neil responded too late, his uncle and cousin already on the helicopter. He posted in disbelief and sadness on Twitter, along with pictures of him with Bryant and his father Shaq when they were all younger. He reminded fans to send love out to their loved ones.

Partner of deceased rapper and Los Angeles icon Nipsey Hussle dedicated a moment to Kobe Bryant at Hussle's Grammy win for best rap performance. London suffered the tragic loss of Hussle the same way Vanessa Bryant had and remained solemn but appreciative of the award.

London also posted on her Instagram a picture of Hussle and Bryant together with the words "God help us". This was no doubt a public prayer for herself, the Bryant family, and the rest of Los Angeles.

Singer Marc Anthony also paid tribute to Kobe Bryant at his Boston show the same night of the tragic helicopter accident. Anthony and Bryant were good friends, the singer a fan of the Lakers and frequenter of his basketball games.

Anthony stunned his audience as he visibly broke down crying in mourning of Bryant and his daughter Gianni. The screens at his concert displayed a powerful image of Bryant holding his Jersey. Bryant would have been thankful and proud of Anthony.

Justin Timberlake took to Instagram for his own tribute and final words for Bryant. The two had also been friends for years, Timberlake a frequenter of Lakers games, the two having many family dinners together.

Timberlake recalled and appreciated Bryant's belief in his skills, while the athlete was a physical force, constantly putting people in awe. Timberlake also recalled their final conversation, one of fatherhood and setting an example for their children. He sent his love to the Bryant family.
