Olivia Newton-John‘s husband of more than a decade, John Easterling, is paying homage to his recently deceased wife with the most beautiful tribute ever!
It is worth knowing that Newton-John and Easterling, founder and president of the Amazon Herb Company, tied the knot in 2008 in an initial spiritual ceremony in Peru, followed by a legal ceremony nine days later in Florida.
The Australian songwriter sadly departed this life on August 8 and is survived by her family, including her spouse, who penned commending words on Instagram to describe and honor her departed soul.

Easterling began the touching tribute by writing, “Olivia, Our love for each other transcends our understanding. Every day, we express our gratitude for this love that could be so deep, so real, so natural.” He noted their awe of the “great mystery” of their affection and added that they had accepted the experience of their love as “past, present, and forever.”
The Amazon Herb CEO described his beloved wife as a healer at her “deepest essence” using her “medium of songs, of words, of touch.” Newton-John was the “most courageous woman” he had ever known, and he believed her genuine care for people, nature, and all creatures exceeded what was humanely possible.

Easterling further acknowledged that God’s grace had allowed him to share the “depth and passion” of his partner’s being for so long. According to him, even in the 73-year-old songstress’ most difficult times, she always remained spirited, humorous, and willing to “move things into the light.”
And now, while her soul ascends, “the pain and holes” in her husband’s heart are healed with the joy of her affection and the light that shimmers forward. The bereaved partner then concluded his lengthy, heartfelt tribute: “Our family deeply appreciates the vast ocean of love and support that has come our way. – Onward Ho John Easterling.”

Fans mourned the legendary pop icon with multiple touching remarks under the post and confirmed her significant other’s words on how magnificent she indeed was. Several were grateful to have experienced her existence, while others appreciated Easterling for being a genuinely wonderful soulmate to his sweetheart.

Several weeks before Newton-John passed away, The Blast reported that she credited her husband for assisting her in managing her health struggles over the years. Speaking of which, she battled breast cancer since the 90s when she first received a proper diagnosis in 1992. Easterling helped her cope with the pain through the medications and radiation treatments she had to receive to fight her cancer.
He did so using his company’s herbs and cannabis which admittedly helped improve the four-time Grammy winner’s health and mood. Although Newton-John got her original breast cancer diagnosis in 1992, doctors were certain that she was cancer-free after some treatments.
However, in 2017, medical experts found that the cancer had spread to her bones and was labeled a stage IV condition. That was the third reoccurrence of the disease, which the music legend confirmed, revealing that she experienced a lot of pain as the cancer had metastasized to her lower back. Nevertheless, she remained brave till the end.

Amid the devastating loss of Newton-John, The Blast shared an obtained clip of the deceased opening up about death and spirits in a 2021 podcast interview. The then episode of Sarah Grynberg’s “A Life of Greatness” revealed that the “Grease” actress had indeed thought about death a few times as she knew it was a possibility sooner than she wished.
She pointed out that everyone knew they were going to die one day, but they spent their lives in denial, so it was “extremely personal” and “hard to put into words” what was expected with death.
Newton-John believed everyone was “one thing” as she has had experiences with spirits and spirits life, so she felt there was more going on after death. She added, “I hope the energies of the people you love will be there… I think all the love will be there. I’m sort of looking forward to that – not now, but when it happens.”
