Miranda Lambert is the latest celebrity to have jumped aboard the “Dolly Parton Challenge” bandwagon. The viral trend started by the 74-year-old country icon involves taking to social media and posting four images of oneself – each representing the vibes seen on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and dating app Tinder.
The hugely-popular challenge has already been aced by the likes of Miley Cyrus, Gal Gadot, Chrissy Teigen, and Eminem – the 47-year-old rapper did, however, throw everyone a curveball by posting a naked Grindr pic in lieu of Tinder.
Miranda posted her version. Check it out below.
In fitting with the challenge, Miranda posted four photos. For her LinkedIn portrayal, the 36-year-old posted a photo of herself seated and wearing a professional-looking suit jacket in black-and-white prints.
Things turned cuter for Miranda’s Facebook picture. Here, the singer was wearing a casual shirt and jeans as she cozied up with her dogs.
Instagram was an eye-catching deal as Miranda posted a musical photo of herself on stage and wearing a mini dress – the blonde also had a guitar strapped to her.
Tinder definitely upped the ante, though. For this image, Lambert was rocking a plunging black dress with a chest-flashing and braless finish. The sexy look also came with messy, wavy hair, and a direct gaze.
A caption from Miranda mentioned The Dolly Parton Challenge via a hashtag. She also used a cry-face emoji amid others.
Miranda generated quite the response with her challenge. The update sat at over 109,000 likes by the time it was three days old – not bad for an Instagram account with 3.8 million followers.
Fans were loving the whole thing.
“Nailed it!” one fan wrote.
“Girl, you are awesome! Love this!!” another said.
“Boom!” was all one fan needed to say.
Miranda did opt for a double take on the challenge – anyone swiping right saw an entire new challenge showcasing Miranda’s dogs in the four modes.
Miranda might be red hot, but she’s also very much taken. The country star recently took to Instagram to mark one year of marriage to Brendan McLoughlin. The NYPD officer and songstress met in November 2018 and marked their first wedding anniversary on Sunday.
“1 year ❤️. I’m so happy to walk through this life with you. Thank you Brendan for making me the proudest wife and stepmom. You are the reason for all my new smile lines. I love you. #MrsMcLoughlin,” Miranda captioned a wedding snap of the couple.
Prior to her current marriage, Miranda was married to country superstar Blake Shelton. “The Voice” judge is currently in a long-term relationship with singer Gwen Stefani.
“I was going through a very public divorce, and I wasn’t going to shy away from that,” Miranda told Nashville Scene.
“I could have done something shiny and covered it up, but that wouldn’t have been honest. I’ve always been brutally honest about myself. I couldn’t start hiding things at that point,” she continued, adding:
“That was the closest I’ve come to doing something just for myself, a singer-songwriter record,” as she spoke of her “The Weight of These Wings” track.
Married she may be, but Miranda definitely didn’t miss the mark with that Tinder pic.
