Kobe Bryant's death has shaken fans to their core. The basketball legend died this weekend in a helicopter crash also killing his 13-year-old daughter – the NBA icon was among nine pronounced dead as the helicopter he was flying in burst into flames in California.

Nobody on-board survived.

Within hours of the 41-year-old's passing, Instagram had been taken over with tributes from fans, with celebrity Instagram also appearing to turn out in full force. Hollywood's biggest faces have been taking to the platform to honor the star's passing, and you can see some of the tributes below.

Demi Lovato/Instagram

A tribute quickly came in from singer Demi Lovato. She posted a photo of herself with Kobe and his daughter, captioning the snap with heartfelt words.

"This makes me so sad. Kobe you were always so sweet to me. Known you over 10 years.. not super well but we always joked about you coming over and playing that game of horse! You will he so missed by so many. You’re a legend with wings now. RIP Kobe ??? update I just heard his daughter Gigi was also in the accident and it breaks my heart. This whole family was so sweet and now they’re in my prayers heavy. RIP Gigi beautiful girl. ???," Demi wrote.

Fellow NBA icon Lamar Odom seemed completely broken-hearted.

"These picture are just the tip of the iceberg of our relationship. He taught me so many things in life that were necessary on and off the court. On the court he taught me how to carve out defenses and how to take my time. How to make winning my ultimate goal. Off the court he taught me to sign my own checks lol," he wrote, also saying:

"I'm glad I got to be the yin to your yang as far as the locker room was concerned.

Kaley Cuoco was one of the stars also marking Kobe's tragic loss. The "Big Bang Theory" star posted a photo of the legend, alongside a heartfelt caption.

"Been sitting here for a few hours completely gutted by this news .. Kobe - this one is gonna hurt for a long long time .

I feel so lucky being able to witness your brilliance court side so many times including your record scoring game.

I loved basketball because of you. I compared every athlete to you. You made your mark on this earth and will always be the GOAT. My future children will know it was you!! Deepest prayers for Kobe, GiGi, Vanessa their 3 daughters, the entire Bryant family and the additional lives that were also lost in today’s tragedy ? ???," she wrote.

Celebrity tributes were also left by President Donald Trump, sprinter Usain Bolt, and countless other Hollywood faces.

"Reports are that basketball great Kobe Bryant and three others have been killed in a helicopter crash in California. That is terrible news!" Trump wrote – the President did not appear to correctly acknowledge the death toll.

Halle Berry, meanwhile, wrote:

"There are no real words to convey the depth of my sadness. Love and strength to Kobe’s entire family and to the families of all who were lost in today’s crash."

Tributes also came in from gymnast Simone Biles, basketball star LeBron James, and NBA player Tristan Thompson. Also turning out to leave thoughts were Kendall Jenner, Bebe Rexha, Hailey Bieber, Tyra Banks, and Megan Thee Stallion.
