Jessie James Decker Teases Caramel Cake: 'That's A Wrap On Book #3'

Country singer-songwriter Jessie James Decker is also a fantastic cook and she just finished whipping up something special for her THIRD cookbook!

It looks like fans can enjoy Caramel Cake as one of the featured recipes, as Jessie seemed positively glowing as she gave the dish her chef's kiss of approval!

While playing Eric Carmen’s “Hungry Eyes” from the “Dirty Dancing” soundtrack, Jessie revealed that she finished her last cookbook by standing in the kitchen in a long white floral robe. She has her long hair tied behind her back as she runs her fingertip along the frosting and licks her finger. She then blows a chef’s kiss in the air to show her approval before she struts off camera, taking the caramel cake with her.

“That’s a wrap on book # 3!!! I am so excited! Y’all are gonna freak!!!!!!” she wrote in the caption of the Instagram video she shared with her followers on Tuesday night. “The recipes, the photos, the food Omg ☺️?? @justfeedme #justfeedme.”

Many fans took to the comments to celebrate her new cookbook, and, most importantly, the recipe for caramel cake! “OMG!!! I freaking LOVE caramel cake and hardly anyone makes these anymore!!! ??? legit drooling. I need cake now ??,” one fan wrote.

“Yes ? I have the other two. I’ll be getting the third….can’t wait ❤️,” another fan shared. “Gotta get my hands on that book!!!! ??,” another follower commented. “Yassss! It’s going on my Christmas list ?,” another fan wrote. Plenty of fans asked where she got the robe from but, unfortunately, it looks like that question went unanswered.

Fans also asked when the book was going to be released, but Jessie didn’t answer that one either! Fans are just glad that her book is finally done, given the lasagna mishap that almost happened last month!

Last month, Jessie shared a video with her Instagram followers that showed her opening the oven door expecting to find a perfectly cooked lasagna. Instead, when she opens the door, smoke comes billowing out and she quickly turns the oven off.

In the next shot, it appears that the lasagna was totally unharmed, as it shows her taking a spatula and digging into the cheesy, bubbly goodness. "I asked Forrest to record me pulling the lasagna out to show my mama how good it came out," Jessie wrote in the caption, explaining that "some of the juices from the sauces were dripping in the bottom and it smoked out."

She added, "I forgot to stick a cookie sheet under to catch it." Fortunately, she let her Instagram followers know that "No lasagna or person was hurt during the making of this video."

One fan asked if her lasagna recipe will be featured in the author’s next cookbook. Jessie replied, “It will be in the new one. My chicken lasagna is in just feed me tho.” Her 2020 cookbook, “Just Feed Me: Simply Delicious Recipes from My Heart to Your Plate” is a New York Times bestseller.

In 2018, Jessie James Decker authored another New York Times bestseller called “Just Jessie: My Guide to Love, Life, Family, and Food,” which is a lifestyle book said to contain “delectable family recipes, amazing fashion tips, and practical dating secrets.”

Other fans laughed at her reaction when she thought her lasagna was burned. “That scream,” another follower commented, referring to Jessie’s shocked reaction when she opens the door to the oven. Jessie replied to the fan, writing, “I’m so dramatic dude lol.”

“You need a lasagna pan,” another user suggested. “They are deeper and much better.” Jessie replied, “I have a deeper and bigger one. I didn’t eye it and just layered too much this time.”

Other fans praised her lasagna-making skills, saying it “looks so good” and exclaimed that it looks “absolutely delicious.” Another fan asked, “Can you invite me over for dinner already?”
