The Countdown For Britney Spears & Elton John's Collaboration Is On!

It's almost time for the blast-off!

Superstars Britney Spears and Elton John have been hard at work bringing to life what is sure to be one of the most memorable collaborations of all time!

Late last month, news dropped that the 40-year-old queen of pop and the classic rock legend and activist had a huge surprise up their sleeves. Spears and Sir. Elton John had been in the recording studio putting a brand-new spin on one of John's most beloved songs.

The duo had been creating magic in a California-based recording studio on a remix of "Tiny Dancer," which had originally been released on John's 1971 LP, "Madman Across The Water."

The opening track on the album had also been given a new lease on life when it was memorably used in Cameron Crowe's autobiographical love letter to his life in the music business, the 2000 film "Almost Famous."

The idea for the artists to collaborate had been John's idea, according to our report from last month!

An insider also revealed Spears is "a huge fan" of the legendary artist, and their artistic collaboration has resulted in "a full duet" which the insider gave their seal of approval, calling the duet "incredible."

The collaboration was produced by Andrew Watt and was reportedly recorded in his basement studio located in Beverly Hills.

The "Tiny Dancer" duet has already seen the light of day within insider circles.

"They've already played it for people at their record label," the insider also shared, "and everyone is freaking out. It is so good. They're saying it's going to be the song of the summer."

Record company executives aren't the only musical insiders who know a thing or two about the quality of Spears and John's upcoming duet!

Spears' longtime friend Paris Hilton was also dazzled by what she heard!

The former socialite and star of "The Simple Life" is heavily involved with music these days. Hilton is a deejay and can frequently be found at the helm of big bashes! She revealed she had chosen to attend Spears' June wedding over the opportunity to deejay a party for the President Of The United States!

"It's going to be iconic," Hilton revealed in a recent podcast interview. "I just heard it a few days ago in Ibiza and it is... it is insane!"

In our report detailing the big collaboration news, we revealed unidentified sources had revealed to Page Six the wait for the duet wouldn't be long.

The collaboration is set to be released this month via Universal Music.

Earlier today, the 75-year-old took to his Instagram to share a snapshot revealing his duet with Spears is on its way!

Alongside black text on a simplistic white background, the post features emojis of a rocket and a rose.

John's post comes after a busy news-related weekend for Spears. Her ex-husband and father of her two sons, Kevin Federline, opened up in a recent interview with the Daily Mail, alleging Spears hadn't seen their two teenaged sons in a while for a variety of reasons, one being her frequent Instagram posts that tend to be on the NSFW side.

Spears' new husband, Sam Asghari, debunked Federline's claims on social media over the weekend.

"There is no validity to his statement regarding the kids distancing themselves, and it is irresponsible to make that statement publicly," he wrote in a statement via his Instagram stories.
