A Beautiful Tribute to Dali
In his heartfelt post, the "Greatest Showman" star, 53, said, "It's a very sad day for our family. Dali, our beloved Frenchie, passed away last night. He would've been 12 next month...which I'm told is a long life for this breed. I always, always called him the ROCKSTAR. Because he was! He marches to the beat of his own drum, was beloved by the whole world, and boy did he have a good life. We will miss him but know he's howling in heaven, ruling the roost and enjoying the all-you-can-eat buffet. RIP Dali Rockstar Jackman. We love you!"
With more than 265,000 likes and 6,615 comments, it's safe to say his followers and fans are mourning alongside the actor. The comment section is filled with messages of love, condolences, and support.

Remembering All the Good Times with Dali
Back in 2014, People did a feature on Dali called "7 Reasons Why Being Hugh Jackman's Dog Doesn't Stink." The feature showed various pics of Jackman and Dali with fun captions and descriptions. One photo was captioned "Every Day Is Take Your Dog To Work Day." The caption explained that the actor brings Dali with him to the office and on vacation. "He's part of the family," Deborra-Lee Furness, Jackman's wife said.
A photo captioned, "He's Man's Best Friend, Indeed," had the description explaining the time Dali got his head stuck in a planter in 2012 being curious. "Don't worry there was a hole in the bottom," Jackman tweeted of the incident.
And a photo of Dali behind the steering wheel was captioned, "Where to, Hugh? Just like he does on their walks around New York City, the actor lets the pooch navigate on the open road, too." "Driven in my car. I turn on the radio," Jackman said on Instagram.
Jackman and Furness Celebrated 26 Years of Marriage Earlier This Year
Jackman and Furness, 66, have been married since 1996 and have two children. They also have one other furbaby named Allegra. The couple celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary in April. "The Music Man" star posted a tribute to his wife on Instagram captioned, "Today I celebrate 26 years of marriage to my extraordinary wife. Every single day is filled with so much laughter, joy and backgammon!!!! Deb you light up my life. I love you with all my heart!"
