Woody Harrelson Writes Poem For Baby Doppelganger: 'Ode To Cora'
By Melanie VanDerveer on August 7, 2022 at 4:00 PM EDT
Somebody call Maury! When a side-by-side pic of actor Woody Harrelson and a baby who looks like a mini version of him went viral, the Internet responded...and so did Harrelson.
When Dani Grier Mulvenna of Northern Ireland tweeted a pic of her adorable 9-month-old daughter Cora with a side-by-side pic of the actor captioned, "Ok but how does our daughter look like Woody Harreslon," (in a later tweet she explains how her phone autocorrected his name and spelled it wrong), she had no idea that Harrelson himself would respond and respond the way he did.

Everyone's Talking About the Viral Tweet
The photo of the adorable smiling little girl was next to a pic of Harrelson, 61, taken from “Zombieland 2: Double Tap.” Both were shown smiling from ear to ear looking like maybe Cora's mom has some explaining to do about her real dad. We joke, of course, but it's hard to deny that the two look like they could be related.
The tweet got a lot of attention with 510,000 likes, 32,000 retweets and more than 1,000 comments. One reply stood out among the many comments - the one from Harrelson himself.

Harrelson's Response was an Original Poem for the Baby
Harrelson reposted the original side-by-side photo on his Instagram page, tagged Cora's mom, and captioned it with a poem he wrote for his baby doppelganger.
Ode to Cora-
You're an adorable child
Flattered to be compared
You have a wonderful smile
I just wish I had your hair
His Instagram Followers Responded to the Photo and Poem
The "White Men Can't Jump" star's post received more than 308,000 likes and almost 3,000 comments in a few short days. "Wholesome Harrelson," "The ode to Cora had me," "Plot twist: you're the real father," "Mr. Harrelson must've been filming in your City awhile back," "Just like you but with more hair," and many other comical and supportive messages filled the comment section. And of course, Cora's mom commented, "You've made our day. can't wait to show her this when she's older, you have another fan for life xxx."
Grier Mulvenna reposted Harrelson's Instagram post on Twitter and captioned it, "It's not every day Woody Harrelson writes your daughter a poem." She also posted a photo of her adorable daughter explaining that she doesn't resemble Harrelson every day.
Cora says, thank you all so much for the likes and retweets and also that she doesn't always look like Woody Harreslon, it's just that when she does...she really really does xxx pic.twitter.com/0CuEQrIgSy

Harrelson Wears Many Hats and can Now Add One More to the List
Harrelson, an Emmy winner and three-time Oscar nominee, is known by many generations for roles such as "The Hunger Games," "Cheers," "Zombieland," "White Men Can't Jump," "The People vs. Larry Flynt," among others. He was recently reunited with his "White Men Can't Jump" costars, Wesley Snipes and Rosie Perez, 30 years to the day since the release of their 1992 hit film, to present the award for Best Cinematography to Greig Fraser for "Dune."
The actor is also known for many other roles - director of his own play, activist, cannabis dispensary owner, practitioner of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and now he can add poet to that list thanks to Cora and her big smile.
