Britney Army is upset with Sam Asghari for posting a gym selfie while the princess of pop is “fighting for her freedom.” The “Gimmie More” singer’s loyal fans are also slamming him for his “lack of support” during her conservatorship case and accusing him of being self-absorbed instead of being there for his girlfriend. Her Army awoke when Sam Asghari nonchalantly shared the fitness photo on Wednesday, the same day as Britney Spears’ hearing over her conservatorship.
While a group of protestors marched outside of the Los Angeles courthouse on the singer’s behalf and #FreeBritney was trending on social media, Sam Asghari was busy in the gym working on his biceps. Wearing shorts to show off those famous leg muscles, Britney Spears’ significant other held up his phone to capture the sweaty moment with a mirror selfie. Joking about an earthquake that took place in L.A. yesterday, he captioned the photo, “I’m making this post to say that I’m truly sorry about dropping my heavy ass weights and making the ground shake.”
He continued, “If you were in Los Angeles you felt an earth quick last night around midnight but it was really just me lifting weights ?️♀️ ? stay safe everyone!” Making sure to drop his aggressive workout plan and the name of a product he claims helps him get ripped, Sam Asghari wrote, “My morning routine for the next few weeks will be @1stphorm OPTi-greens 50 followed by 30 minutes of steady run first thing in the morning , it is the best way to cut down if you’re secretly a Cookie Monster!”
Fans were pissed that he seemed to care so little about Britney Spears’ massive day and made sure to speak on it by filling up his comments with angry responses. “Your girl is in court bro! Shouldn’t you be by her side?” asked one fan. “Sorry but I don’t see your support for Britney’s freedom today,” added another. “Your lack of support for Britney is gross!” stated a third person. Fans also trolled him by simply hashtagging “#Freebritney” on his post.
