Is Kim Kardashian Jealous of Her Little Sister Kylie's Success?

The Kardashians are arguably the most famous family in the world, or at least the most talked about. They each hold a certain amount in the celebrity arena but Kim Kardashian specifically has always appeared to the most popular out of the entire family. That is until recently. Kylie Jenner, Kim's half-sister, has accrued a lot of attention over the past three or four years. Some blame this on her sudden attractiveness due to alleged plastic surgery and her relationships but nonetheless, sometimes it seems like she stays in the spotlight more than Kim these days.

Kylie Jenner has in part built her dynasty by creating a makeup line called Kylie Cosmetics. She also recently came out with a skincare line. This makes her the most wealthy out of the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan, with a net worth of $1 billion. It would be kind of hard to watch your younger sister accomplish these things right?

Even still, none of the sisters have been known to bite their tongue when it comes to issues they may have with one another, playful or serious. In a recent video in which Kylie does Kim's makeup using her brand, Kim called the setting spray, "cheap s***".

While Jenner attempts to set Kardashian's makeup look, they run into a little complication. The bottle didn't work. “Why the f*** is this not working?” Kim asked, before calling the product "cheap". Now, they could most certainly just be joking around and hey, who isn't a little mean to their siblings? Especially their younger siblings?

But it makes you wonder if there could be a little jealousy also taking place. It wouldn't be hard to see why Kim could be jealous of her sister's success.

Kim Kardashian also has a makeup line called KKW Beauty. Although still successful, the brand has yet to reach quite the same amount of success as Kylie's has. Kylie claims however that she is not in competition with her sister, even though people continue to pit the two against one another.

In a YouTube video, she stated, "People always put me and Kim in a competition, or like, I’m trying to be Kim, or I’m trying to steal Kim’s throne. I think people forget that me and Kim are sisters. We’re not in a competition, we’re completely different people.”

The 22-year-old makeup mogul has passed up her big sister in Instagram followers and arguably influence as well. However, she admits that she does look up to Kim and that there is no bad blood. Kim inspires me,” the Kylie Beauty mogul said on an episode of KUWTK. “She’s one of my biggest inspirations, that’s not a secret. I look up to my big sister. I don’t think that’s a weird thing. I do want to be Kim.”

The only thing Kim seems to really be worried about is passing up Kylie's followers on Instagram again. "I just wished I would beat you in Instagram again, she said in a YouTube video. “Now my wish won’t come true.” Who knows? Maybe it's just a little healthy sibling rivalry.
