Hassan Jameel, Rihanna's Ex, Was Romantically Linked to One of Her Good Friends

Keeping your personal life away from the public limelight can be challenging, especially in the entertainment industry. However, Rihanna, the celebrated fashion and music icon, seems to know how to work it out. For some years, she has been in a relationship with Hassan Jameel, a businessman based in Saudi.

The duo kept their relationship private, with the media only managing to spot them on a few occasions. Despite Rihanna’s efforts to remain private about her personal life, the press established that the two recently broke up.

However, fans may have been following on the star’s life even more closely, with some indicating that Jameel had been in a romantic relationship with one of Rihanna’s close friends. Details about where Rihanna found her ‘lost love’ remains unclear. However, paparazzi reportedly spotted her in London in 2016 in the company of a dark-haired guy believed to be Jameel.

The two were months later again spotted together, and finally announced their dating in the 2017 summer. Their announcement was, however, unintentional after they were found in a heavy PDA while on vacation in Spain.

The relationship had stirred controversy after Jameel’s rumored ex-girlfriend, Naomi Campbell, learned that he was seeing Rihanna. Hollywoodlife learned from a source that Naomi had learned about the relationship and was furious about it. According to her, her success was way beyond Rihanna’s. Besides, Naomi believed she is hotter than Rihanna, and therefore, seeing her photos with Jameel circulate online was quite frustrating.

Naomi believed the two would not last long in the relationship, given that both carry poor dating histories.

Since the announcement, the two appeared to have gotten comfortable with their relationship going public and were often seen together. By 2019, Rihanna even went ahead to admit she was in love with Jameel. The 21st of February seemed one of the best days of their lives as Rihanna celebrated her 31st birthday.

The duo seemed to be in their best moods, with some fans expecting an engagement announcement to follow soon. However, recent reports indicate that their fans are in for a shocker.

After dating for three years, a source shared with E News that the fashion icon has called off the relationship. The lad as Cheatsheet reports, who allegedly dated Naomi before Rihanna, was at one time married to Lina Lazaar, a marriage that lasted five years before their 2017 divorce. They both seem to be unlucky in love, with Rihanna’s involvement with Chris Brown and Drake still fresh in her fans’ minds. Her efforts in the relationship she had said ‘mattered’ may not have been enough as the two have since parted ways.
