Halsey Shares PDA Pic with New Boyfriend

Halsey gave a warm birthday wish to her boyfriend Evan Peters via Instagram on Monday afternoon.

Halsey, 25, posted two cozy pictures taken inside of a photo booth. “Happy birthday darling. I can’t imagine a world without you in it,?" her caption read. The simple but sweet photo set has gained over 1.5 million likes in less than three hours.

Although the songstress didn't share the exact location of said photos, we know they must have been taken somewhat recently.

For starters, we're not sure how we missed the fact that Halsey and Yungblood had broken up. We honestly thought her song "You should be sad" was in reference to her very public break up with G-Eazy. It turns out that she has been dating Evan Peters since at least September 2019 when they were spotted at Los Angeles' Six Flags Magic Mountain.

(Come to think of it, we did think Yungblood looked awfully cleaned up the last time we saw them at an awards show ...)

Their first industry-related outing was in celebration of American Horror Story's 100th episode on October 26, 2019. Halsey's beau was previously engaged to his co-star Emma Roberts, who was also in attendance at the same event. Halsey made public confirmation of her new relationship on The Ellen DeGeneres Show right before the big red carpet night. Smart move!

After further research we found that her breakup with Yungblood was the subject of much speculation. Who did it, and why? Halsey quickly put to rest any rumors of a scandal.

"Sometimes, people just break up. It doesn't mean someone cheated or something bad happened," she penned in a since-deleted tweet.

If you haven't heard by now, we love a since-deleted tweet (and we're also thankful to this fan account for snagging it). "Sometimes. It just happens. Because life Is constantly changing. And adults stay friends and move on," she continued.

But this wasn't the end of the conversation. She later posted a very cryptic tweet: "now u know what u know."

Although the tweet initially led to some justified confusion - especially to those who hadn't seen the earlier tweet - she was embraced by her loyal legion of followers.

"Please don’t always think you have to clarify yourself because of your life experiences," one fan wrote. Another fan reassured the "Closer" singer that her fans love and support her always.

A source previously spoke to E! News on the matter, assuring that this relationship is the farthest thing from a rebound.

"Halsey has always been a huge fan of Evan's," they said. "A friend connected them and they had also been chatting over social media before deciding to hang out. It's still very new, but they are both interested in dating each other and hanging out."

While we're just the happiest for Halsey and her happiness, we're not happy that we fell so behind...we should be sad.
