Dolly Parton turned 74 on Sunday, and while birthday wishes streamed in from everywhere, her goddaughter really outdid everyone else. Miley Cyrus shared some behind-the-scenes footage from her 2017 appearance on Jimmy Fallon during which she did an amazing impersonation of Parton.

In the clip, Fallon plays the role of Kenny Rogers and the two mimic a duet of "Islands in the Stream" that they performed on TV in the 70s.

"Happy Birthday Aunt Dolly!!!!!" Cyrus captioned the post.

Hilary Swank chimed in, saying, "Your voice is absolutely stunning."

"Seriously I just have a thing for when you sing dolly songs SO GOOD," one fan said.

"Omg yess iconic!! what all the aunts and uncles listen too when they drink HAHAHA," another replied.

It wasn't publicly known that Parton was Cyrus' godmother until she revealed it in an interview with Anderson Cooper in 2015.

"[I told Billy Ray], I don't know if I'll be around to where I can actually do all the duties that a godmother does," she said at the time. "So let me be her fairy godmother."

Parton has defended Cyrus throughout her oftentimes tumultuous career.

"If you think I'm going to sit here and pass judgement on Miley, you're wrong," Parton said in a 2010 interview. "She's precious. I love her and I have nothing but wonderful things to wish for her and wonderful things to say about her."

"I remember myself at her age. We've all been a bit too hard on her," she told Parade in 2012. "I hope she holds it together because there's a world of things she can do. She should keep an eye on things and make wise decisions."
