Jennifer Aniston Should Not Get Back Together With Brad Pitt

Look, far be it from me to pour salt in the wound that is Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt's divorce. They were the golden couple, the power couple, the couple everyone wanted to be back when they were married.

But, along came Angelina Jolie, the mysterious and sexy temptress who played opposite Brad in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. He later left his wife Jennifer for her, with the pair divorcing and breaking the hearts of millions of fans who considered them to be the epitome of love in the early 2000s.

Fast forward to now, and Brad and Angelina have clearly had a rough go, now divorcing amid problems with their children, and rumors of Brad having an alcohol problem.

However, for Jennifer Aniston, things couldn't be better. Though she recently divorced her husband, actor Justin Theroux, she has never looked so happy and gorgeous.

The Friends alum has been living her best life, working out, spending time with friends and throwing lavish birthday parties (of which Brad attended.)

So, why after all these years of working on herself and becoming the absolutely stunning woman she is now, would she go back to a man who cheated on her with his co-star?

At the SAG Awards on Sunday night, Brad won the award for best-supporting actor and threw some shade at his ex, Angelina Jolie.

The actor claimed he would use his SAG Award as a way to improve his dating life, and claimed during his speech, "I got to add this to my Tinder profile."

He also joked, "Let's be honest, it was a difficult part – a guy who gets high, takes his shirt off and doesn't get on with his wife. It was a big stretch. It's big."

While he was clearly being self deprecating, wanting to make light of the difficulties he's recently experienced, it didn't come off as the classiest thing to say during an acceptance speech.

What most definitely set fans hearts aflutter was the backstage reunion between Brad and Jen, where they were seen holding hands and congratulating each other.

Brad watched from backstage as Jen accepted her award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series, mouthing the word "wow," as he watched.

Social media had a meltdown at the interactions between the pair throughout the night, and obviously we all still hold nostalgia in our hearts for the one time couple who seemed like they were so in love, until they weren't.

But, let's not forget the way Brad treated Jen back in 2005 when he left her for Angelina Jolie. Now that he married and separated from her, is it really right for him to go back to Jen, expecting that she will just pick things up where they left off?

Brad is surely regretting his choices in the past, but Jennifer Aniston should not be falling for it. The actress is on a high, with huge amounts of success in her life right now, and she doesn't need to revisit the past, especially with someone who already broke her heart once.
