Singer Justin Biebergave his first performance since being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome back in June.
On Sunday night, the "Baby" singer showed up for his fans in Italy at the Lucca Summer Festival. This was the Canadian pop star's first performance in months after he was struck with facial paralysis causing him to postpone the rest of his U.S. tour dates on his Justice World Tour.

Bieber's return to the stage had previously been announced by AEG Presents UK, who tweeted, "Justin Bieber RESUMES WORLD TOUR!!! Starting a run of European festivals in Italy on 31st July, then continue across South America, South Africa, The Middle East, Asia, Australia & New Zealand then back to Europe in 2023. Details of postponed U.S shows coming soon!"
Although the "Lonely" singer might have been struggling, he showed no sign of his previous medical ailments on stage. He sang and danced shirtless on stage as he performed a medley of his top hit songs.
Not only did his first performance go well, but his tour website has since been updated to include the rest of his European tour dates. In September, the 28-year-old singer will travel to South America before performing two more shows in South America. The "Peaches" singer will then perform several concerts in the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
Justin is expected to make good on his postponed U.S. tour dates sometime in 2023 if all goes as planned with his health.
Justin Couldn't Blink One Eye After Being Diagnosed With Ramsay Hunt Syndrome
In June, Justin Bieber took to Instagram to share his health scare with a brief video showing off his facial paralysis. In the video, he revealed that he had problems moving the right side of his face, including blinking his eye, moving his nostril, and eating.
“It is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis,” he said in the video. “As you can see this eye is not blinking. I can’t smile on this side of my face; this nostril will not move. So there’s full paralysis on this side of my face.”
He told his followers that his facial paralysis had been caused by Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. According to the Mayo Clinic, Ramsay Hunt Syndrome "occurs when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near one of your ears."
"For those who are frustrated by my cancellations of the next shows, I'm just physically, obviously, not capable of doing them," Justin told his followers in the video. "This is pretty serious, as you can see. I wish this wasn't the case, but, obviously, my body is telling me that I've got to slow down."
"I hope you guys understand," he continued. "I'll just be using this time to rest and relax and get back to one hundred percent so that I can do what I was born to do."
"I'm going to get better, and I'm doing all of these face exercises to get my face back to normal," he went on. "It will go back to normal, it's just time. We don't know how much time it's going to be. It's going to be OK."
