Good And DeVon Franklin Divorced After 9 Years
As The Blast exclusively reported, Good and her estranged husband DeVon Franklin called it quits in December after nine years of marriage.
We exclusively obtained the divorce documents which were filed by Franklin on Monday, December 20, at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles, California.
The pair welcomed no children during their time together so there were no concerns about child support. In the filing, Franklin, a motivational speaker, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.
In a surprise twist, he asked the court to terminate its ability to award either of them spousal support — insinuating that they had a prenup agreement before walking down the aisle. He cited August 21, 2021, as the couple’s official date of separation, meaning they were separated for four months before their divorce.
The pair confirmed their breakup via a joint statement that read, “After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to go into our futures separately but forever connected. We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal.”

They continued, “There’s no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love. We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we’ve spent together as husband and wife. We are also extremely thankful to God for the testimony being created inside us both and for blessing our lives with each other.”
