President Joe Biden had to jump on the internet this weekend and share with his followers that he is in fact, not COVID-free and will be heading back to quarantine for a short time. The awkward AF video was posted on Twitter and has over 2 million views.
Covid Got The Best Of President Biden
The President stood tall and strong in the video where he share that despite believing he was over the nagging sickness, he actually isn’t quite over that hump yet. “Tested positive this morning,” said Biden accompanied by his beloved German Shepherd, Commander.
“Going to be working from home for the next couple of days, and I’m feeling fine, everything’s good but Commander and I got a little work to do.” The video loops back around to the beginning so you can watch it over and over again.
The video comes as proof that the president is good to go after confusion about whether he was actually COVID-free or not.
Pres. Biden Caught Covid Twice
Just a few days ago, the 79-year-old shared that he had tested negative for COVID after being in quarantine with symptoms for a few weeks. But then on Saturday, he announced that he once again had tested positive for the pesky ailment. He immediately shared the news with his Twitter followers.
“Folks, today I tested positive for COVID again. This happens with a small minority of folks. I’ve got no symptoms but I am going to isolate for the safety of everyone around me. I’m still at work, and will be back on the road soon.”

The White House physician, Kevin O’Connor in charge of our President’s health echoed the sentiments of abides with more medical jargon to make it sound, you know, professional.
President Biden Is Experiencing A ‘Rebound’ Effect
Doctor O’Connor called what Biden is experiencing a “rebound COVID positivity”. The doctor also pointed out that it happens in a “small percentage of patients treated with Paxlovid”. The official letter reads that “after testing negative on Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning, Thursday morning and Friday morning, the president tested positive late Saturday morning by antigen testing. This in fact represents “Rebound” positivity.”
Doctor O’Connor noted that there is no need to worry, it will only take some time to get over. “There is no reason to reinitiate treatment at this time, but we will obviously continue close observation.”
President Biden Back In Isolation
The president immediately re-entered isolation because it is the procedure, the most he will probably take is a Tylenol or two. Unfortunately, the president made a whole announcement when he returned to work.
He talked about feeling a lot better, being on the mend, and all that good stuff, and here he is this weekend making a video about having to go back into quarantine. As he said, he’s going to be ‘working” from home.

President Biden In WFH Mode
One of the responsibilities that Biden made sure to show up for was a visit to the capitol in support of families fighting to pass burn pit legislation. Instead of an in-person meet and greet, he FaceTimed the group.
“I’d planned to stop by the Capitol and visit families fighting to pass burn pits legislation. COVID got in the way, so I FaceTimed them and sent some pizza. It’s our sacred obligation to care for our veterans. I won’t stop fighting alongside them to get this bill passed,” tweeted Biden alongside a video of his call with the group and some background about the work on the hopeful legislation.
