Dove Cameron Stuns In Tight Wetsuit With Boyfriend As Ex Drops Cheating Bombshell

Dove Cameron is making headlines for all kinds of reasons right now. The Descendants actress and singer turned 24 years old this week. The blonde's birthday celebrations were, however, somewhat marred by what appeared to be a cheating accusation from her ex-fiancé Ryan McCartan.

Ryan took to social media on Thursday, seemingly shading the Disney starlet for having cheated on him.

"Within two weeks, my fiancée cheated on and left me, I almost died from food poisoning, and Donald Trump was elected president," Ryan wrote. "I truly didn't think I would be able to make it through that part of my life. I'm proudest of the light that came from that darkness, and my ability to survive and turn the anger and sadness I had into positive life changes and a new way forward."

Dove took to Instagram over her birthday with some stunning throwbacks, also posting a fresh image of herself. Here, the blonde was looking stunning as she enjoyed a boat outing with boyfriend Thomas Doherty.

The snap showed the two reclining on a water vessel and gazing outwards. Dove was appropriately dressed in a tight black wetsuit with a high collar and neon green details. Her long blonde hair was blowing in the wind and she appeared makeup-free.

Boyfriend Thomas was cradling his lady in his arms and likewise gazing ahead from behind dark shades.

A caption from Dove gushed over just about everything, but it didn't mention the headline-making post from ex, Ryan.

"Only photo evidence of an UNbelievable birthday of adventure & surprises orchestrated by this earth angel. 17 hours of cake, crepes, balloons, flowers, water sports on a private boat/lake, arcades, pizza, ice cream, a whole laser tag course to ourselves (surprising me with loads of my friends/family, some of which i hadn’t seen in a year or more, all there to laser tag? cause i f*cking love it)," she began.

Dove's caption then shifted from the indulgent treats and experiences she'd enjoyed to the man she's been linked to since December 2016 – Thomas is Dove's co-star.

"I mean, whatta guy. what i ever did to deserve this kinda love, i’ll spend my whole life wondering," she added.

Fans may have their theories regarding Ryan's allegations, but the dates do add up. 2016 was when the former couple split. It's when Donald Trump was elected.

Dove ended the relationship – Thomas made that more than clear, tweeting.

"Dove has decided this relationship isn't what she wants. We still love each other very much. Please be sensitive, as this is painful."

Dove's photo currently sits at over 1.4 million likes. Fans have been going nuts over the snap, and their responses have definitely been reflecting that.

"If u guys don't get married I'll cry," one fan wrote.

"Well, you are pretty awesome and so is ya fella obviously," another said.

"Does Dove reply?" one fan asked hopefully.

Dove and Thomas were also called "couple goals" by some fans, with the actress' beauty also mentioned by many. Dove and Thomas first started posting couples snaps on Instagram back in 2017 – yes, it's been a while.
