Ryan McCartan the former Dove Cameron’s boyfriend has accused the actress of cheating on him while the two were in a relationship. Ryan came out with the shocking allegation just a day after the actress’ birthday. The duo had been in a relationship which came to an end in 2016, barely seven months after their engagement.
However, E News reports that in the Instagram story where the actor took part in a Q&A session, he regards the cheating incident as one of his proudest moments.

Ryan announced their breakup through a tweet just six months following their engagement. The duo had dated for three years, and the news caught their fans by surprise. In the tweet, McCartan claims that her fiancé had decided that their relationship was not what she wanted. He further urged their supporters to remain calm, confessing that the details were sensitive.
PEOPLE reported that Cameron admitted that she had been all through under pressure, trying to make things look perfect in their relationship.

Ryan is proud of the darkness that the situation presented and how he managed to turn the struggles around and make positive life changes. Cameron has since come up with a post that seemingly is in response to McCartan’s allegations.
In her recent tweet, Cameron re-posts saying “when toxic people no longer have you under their control, they make efforts to influence how others perceive you.” She continues that, “the misinformation may feel unfair, but you ought to stay above it and keep the faith that people will one day realize the truth.”
The decision to break up which seems to have hurt McCartan caused a lot of speculations from their fans. However, Ryan personally hinted that busy schedules were among the possible causes of the fallout. According to him, they never would have found the time to make plans for their wedding.
Aside from dumping Ryan and changing her hairstyle, Dove Cameron seems to be enjoying life with Thomas Doherty, her boyfriend. Dove revealed that she began dating her new love after her breakup with Ryan, which happened for unrelated reasons.

Cameron admits that at first, she felt it was not the right time to move on with Thomas. However, the guy proved to be so romantic which made things quite challenging for her. She recounts how she felt the relationship with the guy would not end well even though she was interested in him. Dove’s games to avoid Thomas came to an end when he finally challenged her for a staring contest where she ended up falling for his plays.
