Aaron Carter posted a video to Instagram early Thursday morning and fans were less than impressed, to say the least. Many fans trolled the singer for looking skinny and appearing to be on drugs.
In the video, Aaron is seen listening to "Zeze" by Kodak Black while covering his chapped lips and looking into the camera deeply. The video also displays part of Carter's beloved jewelry collection, with two big rings and a watch flashing from his hand.
"Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. The fearful are caught as often as the bold," Carter wrote in the caption for the video.

At the top of the comments, one fan wrote, "huffing a lot I see." To which Carter responded, "That's absolutely uncalled for, I just don't understand why you're a group of people trying to create a narrative continues I mean, do you have jobs? Or are you being PAID to fuck w my name."
Fans were split in the replies on the fan's comment. Some supported Aaron's clap back comment, accusing the hater for "cyber bullying", while others called Aaron out for being "a narcissist" and "stuck in the past."
If you say that someone is "crazy like a fox", it means that their behavior appears to be insane or nonsensical at first glance, but there's actually something very clever and subtle to it that's working toward their interests in unexpected ways.

However, it wasn't just one hate comment. In fact, most of Aaron's comment section was full of trolls.
Another comment read, "Your a crack head," receiving 12 likes. This time Aaron clapped back with not one but two comments in an attempt to set the record straight with fans.
"I think you may have cracked your head bruh," he wrote in the first comment. Following up with, "That's defmenation of character, considering I've never done that. I'm an honest human being. I hope you understand. Thank you. Its not right," Aaron replied.
Fans were quick to correct both the hater and Aaron, writing "you're*" and "it's DEFAMATION."

Back in September, Aaron Carter stepped into the Youtube scene in attempt to gain the stardom he had as a child. To do so, he visited two of the top podcasts on Youtube, "No Jumper" hosted by Adam 22 and "Impaulsive" hosted by Logan Paul and Mike Majlak.
In both episodes, he discussed abuse allegations against his brother Nick, his public image, his jewelry collection and how he intends to regain his fame.
However, the top comments on both videos are pretty rough. The first comment on Adam22's video reads, "Cocaine snorts a line of Aaron Carter to start off its day." While the first comment on Logan's video says, "This guy could legit have a full conversation by himself."

Despite negative fan reactions to Aaron's posts and hours-long live streams featuring his mundane activities, the singer denies currently being on drugs.
However, he has admitted to drug use in the past. In November 2019, Aaron told "E! True Hollywood Story" that he previously struggled with addiction.
"Was I taking Oxycodones? Yes, I was. Was I taking Xanax? Yes I was," Aaron confessed. However, he claims this was years ago when he got hooked on the substances after breaking his jaw and claims he hasn't used substances since 2017.
However, his appearance on "The Doctors" in September 2019 tells a different story. Despite insisting he has been clean from his past addictions, Aaron tested positive for marijuana, opiates like hydrocodone and benzodiazepine."
Only the benzodiazepine could be verified with a prescription, as Aaron uses it to treat his borderline personality disorder, anxiety and schizophrenia.
Whether it's drugs or mental health issues, online trolls are definitely testing the patience Aaron has left.
