Jill Duggar is squeezing in some quality time with her newborn son.
The reality star showed how much she has recently enjoyed being a third-time mom with her millions of fans. She welcomed her bundle of joy, Frederick “Freddy” Michael, with her husband, Derick Dillard, earlier this month.

When Duggar became a mother for the third time on July 7, her joy was complete. The “Counting On” alum proved that she is stuck in that joyful bubble with the pics she dropped on Instagram.
The sweet baby is seen napping peacefully in a harness strapped to his mother’s chest. Duggar is glowing and all smiles as she wore an army green top with her hair in a messy updo.

She captioned the post with, “We are all over here soaking up the snuggles and love from little Freddy![blue heart emoji],” and ended the post with several hashtags.
Along with over 35k likes, hundreds of supporters were sure to drop their well-wishes for the new mom. One person said she looked and was doing “amazing,” while another “You look beautiful, Jill!!! I can’t wait to meet him.”
A third fan wrote, “I just love all the old fashion names coming back! Both boy and girl names. Freddy! What a sweet cute name!”
Duggar and her husband announced her pregnancy in February, saying Freddy was their “rainbow baby” after the former suffered a miscarriage.
Weeks after she welcomed the tot, the 31-year-old re-shared the news, in a joint statement with Dillard, of his arrival for missing-in-action fans.
The adorable boy appeared wide awake with his head positioned sideways for the shot. After excitedly exclaiming “Hey!,” they wrote:
“We are finally back on Instagram after being locked down & unable to post for a while!”
The pair then added the news and details of their son’s birth for those that missed her family’s blog post the previous week.
The statement further informed fans that Freddy was born on July 7 at 5:16 pm, was 20 inches long, and measured 7lbs. 6oz.
It is noteworthy that his name “Frederick” means “Peaceful Ruler” while his other name “Michael” translated to “Gift from God.” Elaborating on the significance of their son’s names, the couple penned:
“The name Frederick also holds special meaning for us since it’s Derick’s name with “Fre” added to the front, to make “Frederick.” Similarly, Derick’s name is a variation of his late dad’s name, Rick, that his parents created by adding “de” to the front of Rick to spell, “de”-“rick,” literally meaning son “of” (de) Rick.”
The joint statement noted that both mother and son were doing great following a rescheduled c-section as Freddy’s arrival surprised them — he was expected to arrive a little later in the month.
The couple has two older sons — seven-year-old Israel David and five-year-old Samuel Scott.
The Duggar-Dillard Family Suffered A Loss Recently
Earlier this month, The Blast reported that Duggar and her husband suffered a miscarriage nine months before welcoming Freddy. The doting mom used a video montage from her pregnancy days to break the news.
The clip showed the time she found out she and her husband were expecting their third child. It also included a shot of Dillard walking towards the store to purchase a pregnancy test. The “19 and Counting” star wrote in the caption:
“We recently found out we were expecting our third baby. We were thrilled! However, a few days later, we started miscarrying.”
Duggar expanded on her and her man’s joy about growing their family unit in a blog post. In the post, she recalled how excited Israel and Scott were to find out they would have a younger sibling, claiming that the duo was “full of questions.”
Although it was too early to know the sex of the baby when the miscarriage occurred, they picked a name they thought encompassed the baby’s significance: River Bliss Dillard.
Duggar concluded the article by exclaiming, “We love & miss you, River Bliss!”
