Weeks after she welcomed the tot, the 31-year-old re-shared the news, in a joint statement with Dillard, of his arrival for missing-in-action fans.

According to The Blast, the "Growing Up Duggar: It's All About Relationships" co-author uploaded a picture of the infant laying in a cot and donning a brown, lined onesie.

The adorable boy appeared wide awake with his head positioned sideways for the shot. After excitedly exclaiming "Hey!," they wrote:

"We are finally back on Instagram after being locked down & unable to post for a while!"

The pair then added the news and details of their son's birth for those that missed her family's blog post the previous week.

The statement further informed fans that Freddy was born on July 7 at 5:16 pm, was 20 inches long, and measured 7lbs. 6oz.

It is noteworthy that his name "Frederick" means "Peaceful Ruler" while his other name "Michael" translated to "Gift from God." Elaborating on the significance of their son's names, the couple penned:

"The name Frederick also holds special meaning for us since it's Derick's name with "Fre" added to the front, to make "Frederick." Similarly, Derick's name is a variation of his late dad's name, Rick, that his parents created by adding "de" to the front of Rick to spell, "de"-"rick," literally meaning son "of" (de) Rick."

The joint statement noted that both mother and son were doing great following a rescheduled c-section as Freddy's arrival surprised them — he was expected to arrive a little later in the month.

The Duggar-Dillard Family Suffered A Loss Recently

Earlier this month, The Blast reported that Duggar and her husband suffered a miscarriage nine months before welcoming Freddy. The doting mom used a video montage from her pregnancy days to break the news.

The clip showed the time she found out she and her husband were expecting their third child. It also included a shot of Dillard walking towards the store to purchase a pregnancy test. The "19 and Counting" star wrote in the caption:

"We recently found out we were expecting our third baby. We were thrilled! However, a few days later, we started miscarrying."

Duggar expanded on her and her man's joy about growing their family unit in a blog post. In the post, she recalled how excited Israel and Scott were to find out they would have a younger sibling, claiming that the duo was "full of questions."

Although it was too early to know the sex of the baby when the miscarriage occurred, they picked a name they thought encompassed the baby's significance: River Bliss Dillard.

Duggar concluded the article by exclaiming, "We love & miss you, River Bliss!"
