Blake Lively Looks Unrecognizable Stripping Down To Mesh Bra, Sports Bombshell Red Curls

Blake Lively looked virtually unrecognizable in her latest Instagram update – the all-American blonde we know and love had been replaced by a vintage starlet who'd put the foot on the gas when it came to her old-school look.

Blake's Instagram update was in honor of her upcoming movie The Rythm Section. The 2020 film also starring Jude Law sees Blake take on the story of a woman seeking to debunk the truth behind a plane crash responsible for her family's death.

Blake posted two photos. Both showed the former "Gossip Girl" actress channeling a vintage vibe and a bombshell finish. Blake had stripped down to a revealing black bra – fabrics here switched between opaque materials and sexier meshing.

Blake's porcelain skin perfectly contrasted the lingerie, with further pops of color coming from the actress' red-dyed hair. Blonde may be Blake's trademark, but the light locks didn't show in these snaps.

With tight-curled bangs and looser curls around her shoulders, Blake didn't look quite as she's best known.

A caption from Blake suggested that she'd been using filters.

"#AllTheFilters ??@therhythmsectionmovie @vivianbaker #therhythmsection," she wrote.

Fans have been loving the snaps. The post itself clocked an impressive 1.1 million+ likes since going live on Monday, with comments also being plentiful.

For half-sister Robyn Lively, the filter comment was by the by.

"Filter shmilter," she wrote.

Blake's altered appearance was also mentioned by The Rhythm Section movie's official Instagram account.

"Don’t miss Blake’s transformation on January 31st when #TheRhythmSection comes to theatres. ?," the message read.

Photos of Blake looking disheveled and fully, fully unrecognizable emerged in November 2017 while the actress was shooting the movie in Ireland.

Shortly before posting her lingerie snaps, Blake took to Instagram with some face shots. The star thanked her makeup artist Vivian Baker, also adding a joking caption that FaceTune wasn't working.

"Facetune broke. @therhythmsectionmovie (Both makeup looks by the incredible @vivianbaker ?)," she captioned the photos.

Here, already, fans were commenting on the star's unrecognizable appearance.

"Is that really you on the right?" one fan asked.

"Still gorg," another told the star.

Clearly, fans were pumped to see the movie.

"Can't wait to see you in that role ? you're so much more than your looks and this is a perfect opportunity to show the world once again your amazing acting skills!!!" one user wrote.

Blake Lively seems to have it all: the looks, the career, the happy marriage, and the kids. The actress has been married to "Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds since 2012. In 2019, the couple welcomed their third child.

The parenting comments from these two can be unusual, but they're always awesome.

"This morning, my daughter said, "quiche" which means she's smart, hungry and an *sshole," Ryan has written on social media.

"On our 6 am walk, my daughter asked where the moon goes each morning. I let her know it's in heaven, visiting daddy's freedom" was another.
