Boxing legend Mike Tyson is aging, and his health is clearly not as good as it used to be. Fans spotted Tyson while he was out in New York City and witnessed him using a cane to move around better.
Despite the worry over his health, sources have assured TMZ that Tyson is not injured but needs the walking stick because of some normal problems with his mobility. The use of a cane to walk comes not long after Tyson predicted his death due to spots on his face.
When he made the prediction during an episode of his podcast, "Hotboxin With Mike Tyson," many fans worried about his health and whether there was a real possibility of him passing soon. The sports legend certainly hasn't made things easier with his very violent past full of injuries.

Mike Tyson Was Seen Limping And With A Cane
On Tuesday, fans and some press caught Tyson as he exited from a car and made his way slowly into the hotel he was staying at. The 56-year-old former heavyweight champion seemed to be limping heavily and relied on his walking stick for support.
The walking stick and slow movement immediately caused concern for Tyson's health, but sources close to him stated that he was alright. They told TMZ that the famous boxer doesn't have any injuries and is not dying.
The sources said, "He's dealing with a sciatica flare-up. Nothing serious. Just an occupational hazard for an athlete like Mike." The number of years he invested into boxing makes this a very reasonable and believable excuse for the cane.
He Recently Predicted His Death
The news that he is alright and only using the cane for support is a great relief to many fans who have been worried about Tyson's health since he said on a recent episode of his "Hotboxin" podcast that his "expiration date is coming close, really soon."
As reported by The Blast, trauma and addiction therapist Sean McFarland was also featured in the episode, where Tyson became very emotional and existential. The sports icon spoke about life and how all human beings will die one day, no matter what we do and how much money we make.
Then he revealed that he believes he will soon die. He said that one day he looked in the mirror, saw "those little spots on my face," and immediately knew that they were a sign that he would die soon. He said, "Wow. That means my expiration date is coming close, really soon."

The New York Post shared a clip from Tyson's podcast where he made the statements about his imminent death. Many expressed worry that the boxing legend was using the spots to refer to an actual illness he may be hiding, while others said they hoped the statements were just paranoia.
One fan tried to encourage Tyson and wrote, "Everyone's going to die some day. If we know the day we're going to die, life would be a living hell. So enjoy life and don't worry about death, it will eventually come to anybody."
Some other comments read, "Please don't Mike," "He better not, he has become quite an inspirational guy," and "Never say it out loud, unless as a joke. Sometimes The Fates can be capricious. Don't f--k with them, real talk."
Mike Tyson Had A Very Rough Past
A lot of the worry about Tyson's health and death stems from his violent past as a person and professional boxer. Tyson was arrested dozens of times, featured in many fights, and even had stints in prison. For a long time, many of his fans believed that he would never make it to his 40s.
During his professional boxing career, Tyson was extremely successful and even became the first heavyweight boxer to hold the WBC, IBF, and WBA titles. His titles and success did not come without a lot of violence. Tyson often left fights with a bloodied face and body, but his opponents usually fared much worse.
Thankfully, his team has assured fans that Tyson is healthy. His death predictions seem to have no substance or truth to them. His death would be a very sad day for boxing fans and the world.
