The band, which consisted of Normani, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, and Camila Cabello, filled the void left by legendary groups like Destiny's Child with their feminine and musical prowess.

These young women changed the world in more ways than one, earning numerous accolades for their musical achievements and status as empowered women of color.

Although the group disbanded in 2018 as all five members pursued solo careers, that has not stopped these iconic musicians from appreciating their years together.

For the group's 10th anniversary, Normani celebrated the incredible milestone on her Instagram Stories with throwback pictures of 5H in their prime.

The 'Motivation' Songstress Received Three VMA Nods

This touching gesture came a day after news of the "Dancing With The Stars" alum's nominations at this year's MTV Video Music Awards surfaced.

The Atlanta native's song "Wild Side," a risqué collaboration with rap Queen Cardi B, stood a chance of winning three awards as it was nominated for the following categories: Best R&B, Best Cinematography, and Best Choreography.

Naturally, this stellar achievement made Normani's heart soar to the heavens, and one of her former Fifth Harmony bandmates could not have been happier about her friend's success.

Taking to Twitter, Jauregui proudly congratulated the "Love Lies" artist by reposting Normani's reaction to the news alongside the caption: "MANI!!! F— yes!! So deserved!!!! YAYYYYY."

In Normani's initial tweet, the 26-year-old noted that she woke up to hear the good news, which left her in complete shock.

The caramelized beauty thanked the award ceremony organizers and her fellow "Wild Side" collaborators, namely the "Bodak Yellow" rapper and the music video's choreographer, Sean Bankhead.

Normani also implored fans to vote for the track in all three categories, concluding her message with a link to the official ballot website.

The "Dancing With A Stranger" singer confessed that she usually felt like the "underdog" in many projects, and 5H was no different as the 26-year-old never got the spotlight.

The Atlanta native explained that her talents were "overlooked" as she did not get enough opportunities to showcase her vocal prowess in the girl group.

This exclusion from the group made the "RuPaul's Drag Race" guest judge feel restricted, like she was being forced to stay quiet and content with the lack of publicity.

Fortunately, Normani broke out of her chains and has now shown she has what it takes to withstand the music industry by herself with her singing and dancer talents.

The Teen Choice Award winner credited her parents for her achievements, revealing that they taught her the importance of good work ethics at a young age.
