Actor Chris Rock has still not buried the hatchet with his former friend, Will Smith.
At the 94th annual Academy Awards in March, Chris Rock was presenting an award when he made an off-the-cuff joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, and her hair loss condition, known as alopecia, by referring to her as G.I. Jane.
Smith stormed the stage and slapped Rock before resuming his seat and cursing Rock out. Rock stayed professional and continued to host, declining to press charges as the “King Richard” actor gave an emotional speech accepting his first-ever Academy Award for Best Actor.
Since that time, the Academy decided to suspend Smith for ten years and is letting him keep his Oscar. Although that decision is still hotly debated, Rock has only made a few jokes here and there about the incident and isn’t ready to open up about it quite yet.
But it seems his friends are still able to joke about it because close friend Kevin Hart just got Rock a goat and brought it on stage for his fans to see!

Fans can watch the minute-long exchange over the goat, which Hart jokingly decided to name Will Smith.
As The Hollywood Reporter revealed, controversial “The Closer” Dave Chappelle was the unannounced opener for Chris Rock and Kevin Hart at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night. After a few jokes about cancel culture, he turned the microphone over to Chris Rock, who did an hour-long set.
When he was done, he handled the microphone over to Kevin Hart. Both comedians brought up cancel culture in their acts as well. Both also brought up Will Smith, but it was really Chris Rock who tied those two together. The infamous quote of the night that has been circling around social media was when Rock said, “Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face.”
As the New York Post reported, Rock also opened up on the infamous Oscars slap, saying, “Yeah, that s— hurt, motherf—ker, but I shook that s— off and went to work the next day.” Rock also said that he is “not a victim,” adding, “I don’t go to the hospital for a papercut.”
‘This Is The Worst Night Of This Goat’s Life’
At the end of the night, all three men came back together on stage to joke and rib each other in the final ten minutes of the performance. Right before the show was about to wrap up, Kevin Hart said that he had a gift for Rock and brought out a goat wearing gold chains.
“I’m not taking care of that s—,” Rock said, because apparently, the goat took a s— on stage.
Hart seemed sincere when he told Chris Rock that he got him a goat because he considered him the GOAT, the greatest of all time. However, Chapelle interrupted him to quip, “this is the worst night of this goat’s life.”

“He’s just happy he’s not at a Jamaican restaurant,” Rock shot back.
After the goat had an accident, Chappelle put a microphone to the goat’s mouth, asking him, “How’s your first night in show business?” After the goat doesn’t reply, Chappelle asks, “What are we gonna call him?”
“His name is Will Smith,” Kevin Hart says, which is met by whoops and cheers from the audience. The group then posed for a group photo with the goat on stage.
Dave Chappelle: ‘When My Brothers Call, I Come Running’
After the show came to an end, Chappelle thanked both Kevin Hart and Chris Rock for supporting him throughout the controversy over his alleged transphobic comments during his Netflix special “The Closer.”
He told the audience that comedians have a bond that only other comedians can understand, adding, “When my brothers call, I come running.”
Kevin Hart’s Reality Check tour will wrap up in a few months on September 8, while Chris Rock’s Ego Death tour will continue throughout November 19.
Will Smith, meanwhile, has been keeping an extremely low profile ever since the Oscars slap.
