The media loves a good feud, especially when it involves a love triangle, and apparently so do celebrity fans.
Recently, Selena Gomez dined at Craig's restaurant in West Hollywood to celebrate the launch of her album Rare, which features a number of tracks about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
The "Lose You To Love Me" singer posted pictures to her Instagram stories, sharing a purple and pink cake with the title of her album on it.
However, Selena and her pals were not the only ones dining at the celebrity establishment.

Fans were quick to notice that Hailey Bieber, wife of Selena's ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber was also at Craig's around the same time.
Maeve Reilly, a celebrity stylist posted a video to her Instagram stories of a group there that included Hailey Bieber. She captioned the video, "We love you @ratty and @haileybieber."
Apparently, Madison Beer, a friend of Selena's was also there with Hailey, and received a shocking amount of backlash for this on social media.
Selena took to her Instagram to defend Madison against online trolls.

Selena wrote, “This is disgusting reading all of this. This wasn’t intentional whatsoever. I’m so disappointed that people would speak to someone like this. I have known Madison since she was a baby and watched her continue to become the woman she is. There is no issue.”
Madison also tried to defend herself on Twitter, writing, “These rumors are getting insane. I just had dinner with my friend Hailey of 10 years… and that’s it? How is that a crime? I love Selena… always have. (As y’all know.) and I would literally never in a million years try to upset her??? That is just mean and unnecessary and nothing happened. It was just a coincidence, you’re bullying me for no reason.”

Rumors of a feud between Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber have been going around for months after Hailey wed Selena's ex-boyfriend, singer Justin Bieber.
After Selena released music that was clearly about Justin, many assumed Hailey was not happy about this.
However, she doesn't seem too bothered. A source told Us Weekly that Hailey "does not consider there to be a feud," and that Justin has made her "feel very confident about their relationship.”
The two women have even been liking each other's Instagram pictures to prove there is no feud or bad blood between them.
In November, a source told Us Weekly, “Hailey wasn’t mad about ‘Lose You To Love Me’ at all. Hailey thinks Selena is talented. By liking photos of Selena, whether it be a glam shot or ones that her friends post on Instagram, Hailey wants to show that there are no hard feelings. It’s her way of trying to make peace and show her support for Selena in a low-key way, yet public way.”
Clearly, both ladies are just trying to live their lives. Will fans ever allow this? Let's hope so.
