'Shahs Of Sunset' Star Mike Shouhed Hit With Another Assault Charge, With A Weapons Charge Twist

Seeing as Shahs of Sunset has been officially canceled, former star Mike Shouhed thought it was a great idea to again get wrapped up in another domestic violence charge. And surprise, surprise, his victim is his on-again/off-again girlfriend Paulina Ben-Cohen.

The 43-year-old was arrested this week and charged with 14 criminal charges including domestic violence. That’s right, he allegedly put his hands on Ben-Cohen. He didn’t initially share who the victim was but, of course, this information never stays under wraps for too long.

The Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer charged the reality star with a plethora of misdemeanors including attempting to hinder a witness from filing a witness statement. PageSix obtained the legal documents that also showed that Shouhed was facing weapon charges as well. Specifically, storage of a loaded firearm, and possession of an assault weapon.

Viewers of the popular Bravo show witnessed firsthand the “love” between the couple. Often the editing showed Shouhed being mad at Ben-Cohen for something that happened off camera. There was one scene where Shouhed bashed Ben-Cohen at a dinner with MJ Javid and her Husband Tommy after she was unable to show up (the fans assumed they got into a fight).

The bravolebrity has also been known to lash out at his co-stars who he claims he loves like family. If that is the love Shouhed is giving out, he can keep it! Shouhed was arrested a few months ago in March for DV against Ben-Cohen this caused irreparable damage then and it's only getting worse now.

After Shouhed’s first arrest back in March against the 32-year-old mom, Executive producer, and unofficial Bravo head Andy Cohen announced the show would not be returning. Then Shouhed was charged with “corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant” to put that in perspective… it’s a felony so, kind of a big deal.

9 seasons down the drain. Of course the production company, Ryan Seacrest Productions is allegedly claiming that it’s “too expensive to make”. Let’s be honest, compared to the housewives franchise and even Below Deck, we have to assume that Shahs of Sunset is one of the least expensive shows to make. Something is amiss here.

The young eventually mom identified herself as the victim soon after the charges were filed this week. Ben-Cohen’s attorney Joshua Ritter said, “Paulina’s primary focus is on keeping herself and her children safe.”

She has more important things to focus on in life. “She supports the work that the police and the City Attorney’s Office have done, and she continues to cooperate with them while looking forward to putting this sad situation behind her and moving on with her life.”

Fans of the show can agree that Ben-Cohen has endured quite a bit since choosing Shouhed as a partner. The couple has been engaged for a few years now and co-stars were actually hoping that Ben-Cohen would come to his senses. It seems as if she has but not before homegirl had to go through some stuff.

As of right now, sources are sharing that the couple's tumultuous relationship is “unclear”. The relationship has been on a bit of s pause since the last DV accusations. No telling where it will go from here but history does have a tendency to repeat itself.
