Taylor Swift Fans Are Seeing 'Red' Over 2022 MTV VMA Nominations

On Tuesday, fans of singer Taylor Swift were seeing "Red" when her "All Too Well" short film was nominated for five awards at the 2022 MTV VMAs.
Fans first heard "All Too Well" on her Red album when it was released in 2012. In November 2021, Taylor released "Red (Taylor's Version)," which included a special 10-minute version of the song and a short film featuring "Stranger Things" star Sadie Sink and "Teen Wolf" alum Dylan O'Brien.

As the Taylor Nation fan page posted, the Video Music Awards were kind to Taylor Swift this year, presenting her with five nominations in the categories of Video of the Year, Best Longform Video, Best Cinematography, Best Direction, and Best Editing. Fans will be able to vote for Taylor to take home Video of the Year and Best Longform Video by following the link above.
However, the "Shake It Off" singer has some stiff competition if she wants to take home the prize. Check out who Taylor is competing against below!

Dylan O'Brien Revealed How He Was Cast In Taylor Swift's Short Film
In a March 2022 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, “The Maze Runner” actpr revealed that the “I Bet You Think About Me” singer actually reached out to him for the role.
“No, I guess that was something that Taylor had specifically thought of me for. So she reached out to me and asked if I wanted to do it,” he said. “And I, of course, said yes. It was automatic.”
“Yeah, I woke up one day with a text from my manager saying, ‘Taylor Swift’s manager is asking if she can reach out to you about a project.’ And I was like, ‘Whoa,’” he explained. “And then I gave her my number, and not even an hour later, I got this iconic f---ing text from her that was so long and so funny and really, really thoughtful. And it was a full pitch of what she wanted to do. It was awesome.”
