The CW series “The Vampire Diaries” was one of the network's highest-rated shows and spawned multiple spin-offs, including “The Originals” and “Legacies.”

George Clooney is standing at the far end of the photo, but fans were still surprised to see the CW stars spending time with such a famous acting legend.

Nina Dobrev Shares Her Own Snaps Of The Event... Along With Anthony Anderson!
Nina shared her own snaps of the event, captioning her post, “old friends, new friends, one h--- of a good time ⏱🇨🇭@omega.”
This photo also included comedian Anthony Anderson on the far side of the photo as the group stands beside the water. Fortunately, the "Love Hard" actress knew what content her fans really wanted to see, and managed to snap a selfie with the "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" star.
In another snap, the two costars snap a selfie together, with Nina sticking out her tongue for the camera. Their characters used to date on the show, and while they did not end up together, many fans were still happy to see the “Stelena” content!
“We miss Elena and Stefan,” one fan commented. “You guys look so beautiful,” another follower gushed. “Still look soo great with Paul ❤️,” a third fan wrote. “Yay!! Thank you Nina for posting a picture with Paul❤️,” another fan added.
Considering Netflix is set to pull seasons one through eight of "The Vampire Diaries" on September 1, fans are desperate to get their "TVD" fix! At least fans can look forward to Paul Wesley starring as the new Captain Kirk in "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds."
Fans Can't Help But Notice That 'The Vampire Diaries' Costar Ian Somerhalder Is Missing From The Photos!
Back in June 2009, Ian Somerhalder was cast as vampire Damon Salvatore and eventually ended up with Nina's character of Elena Gilbert. Behind the scenes, Ian actually became very involved in the show and started directing several episodes starting in the show’s third season. By season 8, he was also named a producer on the series.
During his run as the bad boy vampire, Ian scooped up several Teen Choice Awards and one People’s Choice Award for his role. He actually had a relationship with his “TVD” costar, Nina Dobrev, which lasted from 2010 to 2013, and was rumored to be one of the reasons that Nina left the show before the final season, although she did return for the series finale to give a satisfying conclusion to her character.
So What Has Ian Somerhalder Been Up To?
In 2014, Ian started dating Nina’s best friend, “Twilight” actress Nikki Reed. The couple revealed that they were engaged in February 2015 and were later married on April 26, 2015, in Malibu, California. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, on July 25, 2017.
In April 2018, Ian decided to play another vampire on TV. He was cast as Dr. Luther Swann in the Netflix sci-fi horror series “V Wars.” The show premiered on December 5, 2019, but was met with critical reviews and was canceled only a few months later in March 2020.
That being said, Ian hasn’t left his “The Vampire Diaries” roots behind entirely. He has remained close friends with much of the cast, including his “TVD” costar, Paul Wesley, who played his brother Stefan Salvatore on the series. In 2020, the two launched a straight bourbon whiskey brand that they call Brother’s Bond Bourbon, a nod to their time on the show.
It looks like Ian might have missed the event to focus on his bourbon brand and spend some time taking care of his growing family. Hopefully, fans will get to see a true "TVD" reunion in the near future!
