Selena Gomez's brand new Rare album dropped today. The 27-year-old singer had been building up to the release with low-key Instagram snaps, but Selena definitely broke the pattern with her latest post.

Fans landing on Selena's feed today were met with an opening snap that left little to the imagination, although the finish is always classy with this girl. Selena decided to share a series of photos from the shoot of her "Rare" music video, opening with one giant reminder that the girl next door vibe can easily take on sexy – all it needs is a revealing outfit.

Selena's caption let fans know that they were getting a BTS peek.

"So my rare video is out! So I'm posting a few pics from that day," the singer wrote.

Welcoming fans with her arms above her head was Selena showcasing her sizzling assets in a halterneck nude top with crystal embellishments. Selena was looking like a total bombshell, with the sultry feel continuing as Gomez lay amid plants and covered by a nude-colored garment in the second image. Here, a more peaceful expression on the star's face toned down the sex appeal.

Selena's post has definitely generated a response. The update managed to clock over 3.2 million likes in three hours, also bringing over 22,000 fans into the post's comments section.

Replies did come in regarding the music.

January 2020 brought a bombshell for Selena's fans as the singer announced that she may be quitting Instagram.

“I got back on [Instagram] because I was releasing music, but I just told my best friend Courtney [Lopez] yesterday, I’m going to have to take it off my phone again soon," she said.

Speaking of her close friends, Selena added:

“They know I have an addictive personality, and it can be unhealthy."

Gomez famously took an extended break from social media in 2018. Although the 2019 return came with full force, it did see Selena overtaken by Ariana Grande as Instagram's most-followed woman.

Selena didn't get off to the best start this year. The singer was vacationing in Hawaii when TMZ filmed her getting stung by a poisonous Man of War Portuguese jellyfish – if you want to get technical, the creature isn't technically a jellyfish, but it isn't far off.

As to the album, fans are already speculating that Gomez has made multiple references to ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber. Selena recently revealed that she hasn't dated anyone since splitting from the "Sorry" singer.
