Rapper Kid Cudi did not have the best time at Rolling Loud after his audience expressed their dissatisfaction with his presence by throwing trash at him while performing.

The "Pursuit of Happiness (Nightmare)" singer, Cudi, took on the headlining gig after replacing his former friend and rapper Kanye West, who pulled out of the annual music festival.

Fans are well aware of the ongoing feud between Cudi and Kanye, which recently hit a major climax on social media after the latter announced that Cudi would not be on his album, "Donda 2." This announcement led to Cudi responding that he did not care about being on the project and that Kanye was not his friend.

During his performance at the Rolling Loud music festival, rapper Kid Cudi got pelted with loads of trash and other objects by disappointed fans of his set.

The rapper served as a replacement for his ex-friend Kanye, also known as Ye, who dropped out of the show due to unknown reasons.

A video shared on Twitter showed Cudi warning fans to stop throwing and slinging dirt at him or he would walk off the stage.

Following his decision to no longer headline the music festival, the show's co-founders, Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif, issued a statement (via People), noting how disheartened they were at the star's decision to pull out of the show.

They said, "We were looking forward to Ye headlining Rolling Loud Miami 2022. We spent months working with him and his team on the performance."

They also added that this would be their first time having an artist pull out from headlining their show but also used the opportunity to share their anticipation of Cudi's performance.

"This is the first time a headliner has ever pulled off our show and though we don't take it lightly, we wish him the best. We look forward to welcoming Kid Cudi as a headliner in Miami and we can't wait to see what he has in store."

Kanye and Cudi haven't been on the most friendly terms for a while now.

Following Kanye's intense use of social media to slam some fellow celebrities like Pete Davidson, his ex Kim Kardashian and even Grammy host Trevor Noah, Cudi also got caught in the crossfire due to his friendliness with Davidson and rapper Machine Gun Kelly.

The "All Of The Lights" rapper wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post saying, "Just so everyone knows Cudi will not be on Donda because he's friends with you know who."

Cudi, in turn, responded in the comment section, saying, "Too bad I dont wanna be on ur album u f--in dinosaur hahaha. everyone knows ive been the best thing about ur albums since i met u. Ima pray for you brother."

The exchange found its way to Twitter, where Cudi continued about how "Whack" it was for West to "flip the script."

West also followed up his initial statement by talking about how betrayed he felt because Cudi always made it seem like it was the two of them "AGAINST EVERYONE ELSE."

The former pals are yet to resolve their issue, and with the recent events that unfolded at Rolling Loud music festival, they might not be talking to each other any time soon.
