Tensions Rise Between Royals as Prince William is 'Blindsided' by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Moving News

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle surprised fans on Instagram Wednesday with news that they intend to move to North America. However, it seems fans were not the only ones out of the loop.

Despite the Royal Sussex Instagram caption stating the couple made the decision after "many months of reflection and internal discussions," it seems big brother William was not one of the people consulted.

An alleged insider source told US Weekly that "William was blindsided by Harry and Meghan's decision and statement" and feels "incredibly hurt." In addition, the interview goes on to say William now intends to take this time to focus on his own family.

The shocking news was also insensitive in its timing.

Harry and Meghan's announcement came just a day before Kate Middleton's 38th birthday, sparking revamped rumors that the feud extends to the wives in the family. Meghan was previously accused of making Kate cry during her bridesmaid dress fitting.

But, is Meghan Markle fully to blame for the brothers' fight? Back in March, Fox News reported it was not the women who held grudges but rather the brothers who had a "rift" and "falling out" typical of siblings.

While Meghan's incident with Kate may not have been the cause of the brothers' feud, she is involved in why they were arguing in the first place.

Cosmopolitan broke down the timeline of Harry and William's feud, explaining William disapproved of Harry's fast-moving relationship with Meghan and thought their engagement was too premature.

Last October, Prince Harry angered The Queen by getting personal in his African documentary.

When asked about the Royal "rift," Harry said, "Part of this role and part of this job and this family, being under the pressure that it's under, inevitably, you know, stuff happens."

However, he explained further in the interview that William will always be his brother and he will always be there for him.

Despite the positive public words, things still appeared tense in photos and videos when the two were seen out together.

Prince William attended Harry's son Archie's christening. However, his face looked like he totally did not want to be there.

In addition, multiple reports claimed William ignored Meghan during Christmas celebrations.

With these snubs and William's past feelings about Harry's wife, it seems Harry's decision not to include his brother in his upcoming moving plans did not actually come out of left field.

While with recent events it is hard to recall a time when William and Harry were not at each other's throats, many fans once fell in love with the duo for their brotherly antics.

As the video below documents, Prince Harry and Prince William were actually quite close throughout their childhood and young adulthood. Videos show the two having fun teasing each other and working together in their military duties.

However, their body language and communication becomes tense as the older clips roll, displaying how their relationship has deteriorated over time.
