Katharine McPhee's Son Rennie Is A Pro At THIS Sport At 17 Months Old!

Katharine McPhee is raising an athlete!

The singer-songwriter and actress gushed about her 17-month-old, Rennie David, excelling at a sport recently. The update comes several months after the young boy marked his first birthday in style.

McPhee and her son, Rennie, are enjoying summertime doing something they enjoy – golfing. The "Shark Night 3D" star showed Rennie exploring a golf course with a picture she posted to her Instagram Story.

The snap featured the 17-month-old curiously looking down at a golf hole while holding the flag pole on top of it. "Start em young," McPhee captioned the sweet image, where the toddler's hand blocked out his face.

The blond-haired boy paired a white and black round-neck shirt with grey Mickey Mouse shorts and white sneakers for the day out. Behind him is a flag pole with the number "2" on it, trees, and a large body of water. 

The "Smash" actress marked her son's birthday with a heartwarming tribute she posted to Instagram in February.

The Blast shared that McPhee dropped a photo series from the epic Safar-themed birthday bash she and her 72-year-old husband, David Foster, threw for the toddler.

Although the certified gold singer was careful not to show the celebrant's face, she revealed the party's balloon arches and ball pit. The Los Angeles native also showed Rennie's blue cake, which featured zoo animals and yellow frosting.

McPhee's well-meaning fans quickly drop comments and birthday wishes for the boy, with one person claiming, "A perfect party. A perfect day. A perfect Mom. A perfect Rennie!!!!! Happy birthday sweet boy!!!!" 

Another person wished for the boy's continuous growth and said Rennie was unaware of how lucky he was to have "such wonderful parents."

Even singer Michael Bublé stepped into the positive comments to write, "Happy birthday beautiful dude !!!!! [heart emojis]."

You would recall that McPhee and Foster welcomed their bundle of joy in February 2021.

While this is the "American Idol" alum's first child, her husband is a father to five other children – Sara, Erin, and Jordan, who he shares with ex-wife Rebecca Dyer, and Allison and Amy from other relationships.

The couple walked down the aisle in June 2019, years after meeting, when the Grammy winner mentored McPhee and other contestants on the fifth season of "American Idol."

Katharine's older sister, Adriana Hope, appears to be going through it.

Documents obtained by The Blast showed that Adriana submitted divorce papers at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, Los Angeles, asking to end her marriage of 11 years and one month to Edouard Collin.

The former couple, who wedded on June 30, 2011, and have their date of separation listed as January 8, 2022 – proving they have not lived together as man and wife for over six months.

During their decade-old marriage, Adriana and Edouard welcomed two children – five-year-old William Robert and two-year-old Georges Daniel.

While details of child support are undisclosed, both parties are seeking joint legal and physical custody of their sons. 

Adriana, a well-known vocal and performance coach, cited irreconcilable differences as grounds for the divorce and has asked to terminate the court's ability to award spousal support to her soon-to-be ex-husband.

Edouard also wants to terminate the court's ability to award spousal support to Adriana. As regards separate property, the lawsuit stated that:

 "All such assets and debts if any, as are ascertained and discovered according to proof at the time of trial, or as disposed of pursuant to a written stipulation of the parties."

Adriana granted permission to the courts to decide on rights to community and quasi-community assets and debts as follows:

"All such assets and debts, if any, as are ascertained and discovered according to proof at trial, or as disposed of pursuant to a written stipulation of the parties."

It has not been determined if either party would be responsible for paying attorney's fees and costs.

The lawsuit to end her marriage came just a day after Katharine threw a lavish party to celebrate Adriana turning 40. The sisters, who co-own McPhee Int’l Vocal Studios, enjoyed quality time with their mother, Peisha, in the outdoor celebration.
