Tristan Thompson's Fling Maralee Nichols Breaks Silence On Khloe Surrogacy Saga

Tristan Thompson's former mistress Maralee Nichols is seemingly sending a strong message about her baby daddy welcoming a second child with his ex-girlfriend, Khloe Kardashian.

As you many know, Nichols' affair with Tristan, which resulted in the basketballer fathering a child, was the breaking point in his on-again-off-again romance with Khloe.

Khloe finally ended things with Tristan in December, after learning of his infidelity through the internet like the rest of the world. However, fans were thrown into confusion when it was confirmed last week that the exes are welcoming a second child together.

After more than one month away — the last time Nichols posted was on June 6 — the fitness instructor made a triumphant comeback to Instagram with a shady post.

Nichols showed off her beauty and curves in a casual ensemble consisting of a white tank top paired with skinny jeans that hugged her hourglass figure. She gave a sideways pose, with her perky derrière slightly turned towards the camera to give her followers a view.

Nichols' brunette hair was sleekly laid down with a center parting, and her face completely glammed up with voluminous lashes and plum nude lips.

The 31-year-old sent a strong message via the accompanying caption, writing, "Theo’s mom ??," seemingly reinforcing her identity as the mother of Tristan's son, Theo Thompson.

She limited comments on the post, allowing only selected people to give their thoughts on the post. One comment read, "Theo’s mom AND dad ? all in one" — apparently throwing shade at Tristan who has been labeled as not being a present and supportive father.

Another fan wrote, "Better looking than khloe! Waaaayyyy better," while this user suggested, "Beautiful we need your thoughts on trashtan."

This comment read, "If minding my business was a person?❤️ sis is unbothered," while another fan asked, "Has Tristan the trashcan met his son yet?"

Nichols' Instagram return comes after a source close to her told US Weekly how she felt about her baby daddy having another child with his ex-girlfriend.

The insider told the publication that the fitness instructor isn't "surprised" that the Chicago Bulls player is adding to his ever-growing brood of kids. "During their relationship he [Tristan] told her [Nichols] he wanted five to six children," the source explained.

However, the mother-of-one is reportedly "truly focused" on raising her son and "navigating motherhood as a single mother." Hence, she couldn't be bothered by the surrogacy news.

The current state of Nichols and Tristan's co-parenting relationship is largely unknown, but back in February, she blasted the professional athlete for not being there for their son amid rumors that he was paying thousands of dollars in child support.

As The Blast covered, Nichols cleared the air, releasing a statement that read, "Despite news reports stating otherwise, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support their son. He has not made any attempt to meet their son, nor has he provided any financial assistance."

Again in June, another source confirmed that the former Cleveland Cavaliers player hasn't changed his ways, saying, "Tristan is very absent from Theo’s life. He hasn’t met Theo nor has he initiated any meetings. He doesn’t have any immediate plans to meet his son face to face."

It was reported last week that Khloe and Tristan are welcoming baby #2 via surrogate. A rep for the "KUWTK" alum confirmed the news via a statement that read,

"We can confirm True will have a sibling. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloé can focus on her family."

The representative continued, shedding light on the state of Khloe and Tristan's relationship.

"Khloé and Tristan are not back together and have not spoken since December outside co-parenting matters," the rep maintains. "The baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloé and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else in December."

The Canadian native has indeed confirmed that he and Khloe are no longer an item when he was spotted with a new mystery woman, partying away in Greece.

The unknown boo rocked a 70s-inspired orange dress and had a big derrière, a feature common amongst the women Tristan has been linked with.

During the fourth of July weekend, the 31-year-old was spotted with another mystery brunette woman in Las Vegas . It's unsure if it's the same woman in both sightings.
