Zoey Deutch hit the red carpet like a ray of sunshine at the 77th annual Golden Globe Awards. The actress, who stars in Netflix's "The Politician" arrived Sunday evening at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA to a packed carpet of stars, but she stood out in a canary-yellow dress designed by Fendi.
Deutch is not nominated for a Golden Globe herself, however "The Politician" is nominated for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy. Her co-star, Ben Platt is also nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in the show.

Fans went wild for Deutch's golden look at the Golden Globes, and took to Twitter to sound off about her arrival.
"Spot on chic with the perfect gem selection," one fan noted.
Another commented, "My fave #redcarpet look so far
@goldenglobes@zoeydeutch wearing the most gorgeous
@Fendi dress & the jewelry is simply stunning!!!"
One person couldn't help themselves, however, and joked that "Zoey Deutch had Pikachu slaughtered and wore him to the #GoldenGlobes." They even photoshopped a little lightning bolt tail to the back of Deutch's outfit.
Unbelievable.

While Deutch is not personally nominated, she will no doubt be cheering on Ben Platt during his nomination. Deutch, who plays Infinity Jackson to Platt's Payton Hobart, appears to have remained good friends with the star after the first season of "The Politician."
She actually credits Platt with helping her land the role on Ryan Murphy's Netflix series. Back in September she told PEOPLE:
"After I auditioned for a movie that he was doing, he very kindly called me to tell me what a special sort of experience it was that we had together,” she says. “Being like, ‘Hey, they don’t want you, but I like you. I want to work together.’ That requires a lot of confidence. It requires a lot of compassion and it requires a lot of kindness, and it’s a testament to how thoughtful he is.”
Deutch has spoken about her other big influence on set of "The Politician," which has already been slated for a second season, is working with iconic actress Jessica Lange.
She recently told EW about acting alongside the "American Horror Story" star:
"I mean, a dream. She’s so funny. She’s so interesting. She’s so talented. She’s so fascinating. I just did my best to be as much of a sponge as I possibly could to soak up everything that she is and has. It was very comforting, especially after the first couple of days of working together, where I realized and understood we were clicking, we were fine. We were going to be great."
