After settling the discrimination lawsuit filed by the Hollywood veteran, the streaming giant announced their reconciliation with the 54-year-old Woodlawn native.
Breaking the news on social media, the production company revealed that the Golden Globe winner would star in two new collaborations, which would air on the platform.
Mo'Nique Reunites With Netflix And Director Lee Daniels For New Projects
Mo'Nique does not seem to have issues working with people she once called out for being gender and racial-biased as the entertainer graced Netflix's Twitter page for a special message on Tuesday, July 19.
In a short video shared by the platform, the "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins" star stated that she would film her first comedy special with the organization, noting that she had finally returned home.
The special, which currently does not have a title, marked the "Almost Christmas" actress's first big news as the mother-of-four also has a new gig with director Lee Daniels.
"I'm also reuniting with my friend, my brother, Director Mr. Lee Daniels, on the Netflix film The Deliverance," the entertainer gushed, "You won't wanna miss either of them. So y'all stay tuned, and thank y'all, my sweet babies."
"The Deliverance," an upcoming horror movie inspired by a true story, would be the second project between Mo'Nique and Daniels.
The pair previously worked together on the 2009 hit movie "Precious," which earned the 54-year-old an Academy Award for her critically-acclaimed role as Mary Lee Johnston, the drama's supporting character.
As reported by Variety, the season of reconciliation was upon the SAG award winner as her yet-to-be-titled special came a month after her settlement with Netflix.
In 2019, the Woodlawn native filed a race and sex discrimination lawsuit against the streaming platform after being given a "lowball" deal of $500,000 for a 2018 comedy special.

Mo'Nique argued that the organization's offer was unfair as comedians like Amy Schumer, Dave Chappelle, and Chris Rock received multimillion-dollar deals to work with Netflix.
Although the terms of their settlement have not been disclosed, both parties were satisfied to collaborate on a new business deal. The same could be said about the Hollywood veteran's partnership with Daniels.
Following a strained relationship of nearly 13 years, the renowned director finally mended fences with the actress during a New York City comedy show in April.
Taking the stage with Mo'Nique, the "Monster's Ball" producer apologized for hurting the Grammy winner, who he also described as his "best friend."
The 62-year-old Philadelphia native declared that the duo would blow viewers' minds with their next project, similar to how they earned recognition with "Precious."
For "The Deliverance," the "Hair Show" actress would be joined by A-listers including Andra Day, Glenn Close, Aunjanue Ellis, Caleb McLaughlin, Tasha Smith, Demi Singleton, Miss Lawrence, Anthony B. Jenkins, and Omar Epps.
The faith-based film featured the terrifying story of a mother who desperately tries to save herself and the souls of her children after discovering a demonic presence in their new home.
Netflix Tried To Dismiss The 'Bessie' Star's Discrimination Lawsuit

As previously shared by The Blast, Netflix did not sit still after the "Phat Girlz" star slapped the streaming platform with a discrimination lawsuit.
According to court documents obtained by the news outlet, the media giant tried to dismiss the comedian's claims of being mistreated based on her gender and race.
The organization pointed out that the plaintiff failed to prove their offer of $500,000 for a comedy special was a product of discrimination because of a contracting statement in her filing.
The production company explained that "The Queens of Comedy" star noted in her legal documents that Netflix had paid other people of color and African-Americans higher fees to create comedy specials.
Therefore, this proved that the platform did not participate in gender or racial discrimination. The company also noted that Mo’Nique failed to explain why she felt entitled to receive the same deals as other comedians.
In her lawsuit, the 54-year-old claimed that the organization offered better deals to celebrities who were either white or male, citing various examples.
The list included Ellen DeGeneres and Ricky Gervais, who allegedly received forty (40) times more per show than what Netflix offered to pay Mo'Nique.
