Jason Derulo Drops $3.6 Million On Home For Jena Frumes, Getting Back Together?

Jason Derulo recently put his money where his mouth is and performed a grand gesture for his ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Jena Frumes.

The pair shockingly called it quits in September 2021 after welcoming their first son together, Jason King, but it seems the exes are still very friendly despite the cheating allegations Frumes levied against the singer.

As reported by TMZ, Derulo shelved a whopping $3.6 million to buy a new lavish property for Frumes and their son to live in exclusively.

The "Savage Love" singer who has been riding on the wave of his super impressive Tik Tok career — which boasts 52.5 million followers — reportedly purchased the home back in March.

The Los Angeles property which is nearly 5,000 sq feet boasts 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms alongside some swanky features that will no doubt make Frumes and Jason King's stay super comfortable.

Some notable features of the California home include a soundproof movie theater, a swimming pool with a waterfall, a built-in spa, an outdoor farmhouse, and a BBQ area.

The Instagram model and Jason Jr. have been living in the mansion since March and it is believed to be located in the Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.

News of the lavish property sure raises eyebrows and makes fans wonder about the state of Frumes and Derulo's romance. Earlier this week, the "Swalla" singer proved to be a supportive ex at the Miami Swim Week.

The choreographer was spotted front row at designer Luli Fama's runway show where Frumes catwalked and modeled several striking bikini pieces.

Jason was lovingly holding their 1-year-old son on his lap as they watched the Instagram influencer do her thing on the runway for 20 minutes.

Earlier this month, the former lovebirds made headlines after Frumes gave a shocking insight into their unexpected breakup. As The Blast reported, Derulo and his baby mama split just four months after welcoming Jason Jr.

The songwriter broke the sad news via a statement that read, "Jena and I have decided to part ways. She is an amazing mother, but we feel being apart at this time will allow us to be the best versions of ourselves and the best parents we could be. Pls respect our privacy in this time."

The breakup came just days after the Frumes who shares the same birthday with Derulo dedicated a heartfelt tribute to the dancer.

"Blessed to share the same day of birth with my lover. You are the most handsome, hardworking, talented, silly, loving human ever. You truly make me whole and I’m so grateful for the love we share. You and our mini make me the happiest girl in the world and I can’t wait to make more memories with you guys," she wrote in a now-deleted post.

Hence fans were bewildered about what went wrong. The "Meet The Blacks 2" star finally shed light on their controversial split while trying to defend herself from a mean troll.

She shared a mirror selfie of her slimmed-down body, flaunting her curves but one fan, who wasn't appreciative of the post, wrote in the comments section, "You’re worth is in wha way? You’re not married which means your child is a bastard and you’re playing the whore role… Ya'll got morals mixed up."

Frumes clapped back at the hater, writing, "I wouldn’t call myself a whore it’s unfortunate my situation didn’t work out because we once did aspire to be married. Maybe it’s best to be single than be in a relationship & constantly be disrespected & cheated on and lied to. Or is it better to stay & be quiet so people like you approve?"

The mother-of-one elaborated on her response in a follow-up post writing, "No one aspires to be a single mom. It’s the biggest heartbreak and failure for me personally knowing I’m alone in this when I wanted love and wanted marriage & the happy family unit. But if your nonnegotiables are being tested, you’ll never find peace in that relationship."

Being specific about what marred her relationship with Derulo, Frumes added, "There's nothing in life I want more than for my family to be together but I can’t be the only one working to make that happen. If a man wants a different girl every week over his family I'll never accept that… I’ll never be OK with sharing a lover that I love with all my heart!"
