Anya Taylor-Joy & Malcolm McRae Had A Courthouse Wedding

As reported by Page Six, their intimate wedding ceremony occurred in a courthouse in the United States.

The outlet also shared that Taylor-Joy jetted back to Australia after getting married, so that she could continue filming "Furiosa," a prequel to "Mad Max: Fury Road."

She'd be playing a younger version of Charlize Theron's character in the earlier movie, which featured Tom Hardy taking over the Mad Max title from Mel Gibson.

They Sparked Engagement Rumors Last Month

Rumors of their engagement began to make rounds when the "Peaky Blinders" actress was spotted wearing a diamond ring in some paparazzi pictures while she was on her way to Sydney.

"She bounded off the plane and then seemed to flash the ring at her driver before getting in the car. She was either showing off the ring or doing a dance move. Either way, she looked ecstatic," an onlooker shared via The Daily Mail.

While Taylor-Joy and McRae have kept their relationship under wraps, the pair began dating in early 2021. The actress confirmed this during an Elle interview, where she referred to him as her partner.
