Jessie James Decker: 'No Lasagna Or Person Was Hurt During The Making of this Video'

On Tuesday, Jessie James Decker posted a video of what looked to be a culinary disaster!

The country singer-songwriter is barefoot in the kitchen, dressed in a white tee shirt and shorts as she attempts to take a lasagna out of the oven. However, it doesn't seem to go as she initially expected!

In the video, taken by her son, Forrest Decker, Jessie opens the oven door expecting a gooey, cheesy, bubbling lasagna. However, the shock and surprise are clearly visible on her face when she yanks the door open and smoke comes billowing out. She quickly turns the oven off and the smoke dissipates, much to her apparent relief.

In the next shot of the video, Jessie is taking a spatula and digging into the lasagna, which looks good enough to come out of the kitchens on the Food Network! Fortunately, it looks like a major culinary disaster was averted and she and her family were able to enjoy lasagna that night!

"I asked Forrest to record me pulling the lasagna out to show my mama how good it came out," Jessie wrote in the caption, explaining that "some of the juices from the sauces were dripping in the bottom and it smoked out."

She added, "I forgot to stick a cookie sheet under to catch it." Fortunately, she let her Instagram followers know that "No lasagna or person was hurt during the making of this video."

Ava Fiore commented, “Looks amazing Jess!!!!” along with a fire emoji.

Another fan asked if it will be in the author’s next cookbook. Jessie replied, “It will be in the new one. My chicken lasagna is in just feed me tho.” Her 2020 cookbook, “Just Feed Me: Simply Delicious Recipes from My Heart to Your Plate” is a New York Times bestseller.

In 2018, Jessie James Decker authored another New York Times bestseller called “Just Jessie: My Guide to Love, Life, Family, and Food,” which is a lifestyle book said to contain “delectable family recipes, amazing fashion tips, and practical dating secrets.”

“That scream,” another user said, referring to Jessie’s shocked reaction when she opens the door to the oven. Jessie replied to the fan, writing, “I’m so dramatic dude lol.”

“You need a lasagna pan,” another user suggested. “They are deeper and much better.” Jessie replied, “I have a deeper and bigger one. I didn’t eye it and just layered too much this time.”

Other fans praised her lasagna-making skills, saying it “looks so good” and exclaimed that it looks “absolutely delicious.” Another fan asked, “Can you invite me over for dinner already?”

Fortunately, Jessie James Decker knows how to keep her cool even when faced with a scorching hot oven. And, speaking of hot, fans were calling her just that when she walked the runway at a fashion show this past weekend!

In a series of photos posted to her Instagram carousel, Decker posted four photos posing for the camera in a colorful Kittenish bikini lined with silver trim.

“Beaming with sunshine after last night,” she wrote in the caption. “I was so nervous to walk but all the girls made me feel so confident!” In the third slide, Decker shared a photo of all of the girls decked out in bikinis, smiling and posing for the camera.

“That’s what its all about,” Decker added, tagging Kittenish in the post. Kittenish was one of the first to comment on the post, writing, “You killed it per usual.”

“Sometimes ya have to take a deep breath and just go for it even if it scares you,” Decker wrote in the caption of the video showing her strutting her stuff down the catwalk.

“Until next time Miami,” she wrote, adding, “ps our Miami @kittenish swim collection is NOW live and going fast, can’t wait to see how gorgeous y’all look in these suits.” She also posted another video with all of the models walking down the catwalk, which can be seen below.
