John Schneider's Divorce Settlement Includes $20,000 Per Month Spousal Support

John Schneider has finally ended his long-lasting divorce with his ex-wife Elly, and the 'Dukes of Hazzard' star will pay her $20,000 a month in spousal support as part of the agreement.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, John has taken the final step in ending his divorce. The filing says it was determined Schneider pulls in $72,777 in monthly income.
Based on the finding and his ex-wife, Elvira's income, John will pay a total of $20,000 a month in spousal support.

The judgment and settlement was signed by the judge and filed on December 18, 2019. Elly filed for divorce on December 12, 2014, and they have one daughter together, Karis.
As we reported, Schneider owed his ex a ton of money in temporary spousal support and even was ordered to 3 days in county jail because he failed to pay upon the amount.
The ex-couple who was married for 21 years, will also split up the arrearage of the payments as follows:
"Arrears are to be calculated as follows. For the period of February 1, 2016, until September 12, 2017 arrearages shall be at the originally ordered amount of $18, 911. From Septemeber 13, 2017 until August 20, 2019 arrearages shall be set at $24, 925, less credits for any payments received."
They will split the retirement accounts for SAG and DAG, and his ex-wife will also get the property located in Apple Valley, California. According to real estate records, "This 12,500 SF single-tenant building provides 2,000 SF of this is professional office space and 10,500 SF warehouse space with eight (8) grade level roll-up doors, central air & heating in the office, evaporative cooling & radiant heat in the warehouse and paved parking."
As we reported, during this multi-year battle things got so bad, Elly made a move to get his "Dancing With the Stars" checks garnished.
At the time, the judge ordered Schneider to cover all Elly's legal fees, which were estimated near $280,000 for the 5 years of fighting.
We broke the story, the TV star tied the knot with his manager and producing partner, Alicia Allain. The couple was forced to wait a few weeks before making the marriage legal while John tied up the loose ends of his divorce.
We obtained photographs of John Schneider and his new wife making the marriage official. The former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant made it official at a Louisiana courthouse.

In the photos, you see the happy couple holding up their marriage license while smiling wide. John and Alicia had already had their fancy ceremony, celebrating their nuptials back in July in a religious ceremony.
The new couple said in a statement, "In our wildest dreams we never would’ve thought our life would be so complete."
