Reynolds explained that the movie is in its pre-production phase:
“Yeah we’re working on it right now with the whole team. We’re over at Marvel [Studios] now, which is like the big leagues all of a sudden. It’s kinda crazy. So yeah, we’re working on it.”

This would be a good way to introduce Deadpool into Phase 4 of the MCU, since Disney’s acquisition of Fox lets Deadpool and the X-Men to appear in other MCU films.
And since some X-Men have appeared in the first and second Deadpool movies, introducing them into the new Doctor Strange isn’t that far-fetched.
Dr. Strange In the Multiverse Of Madness isn’t scheduled for release until May 2021, and is a sequel to Avengers: Endgame and 2016’s Doctor Strange.
Marvel hasn’t confirmed whether Deadpool would appear in Multiverse Of Madness, but it’s becoming more clear that Doctor Strange will move through several realities and would bump into Deadpool during one of these encounters. The character would play a minor role in the film and appear in an end-credits scene.
In addition, Marvel might create two Deadpool entities in Multiverse Of Madness: one would be in the MCU, while the other would be in another dimension.

Marvel president Kevin Feige has hinted that we may see more of these solo projects down the line, and a crossover would fit nicely into that plan:
“The MCU is all interconnected, but we really focus on one movie at a time. We’re going to make the best Black Widow movie we can possibly make, the best Eternals movie we can make, the best Shang-Chi, the best Doctor Strange, Thor, Captain Marvel, Black Panther… and keep evolving their stories. Then, yes, it is always fun to see them come together in a master plan. Which is, I promise you, well under way.”
Given that Deadpool’s promo ads have been historically hilarious and Marvel doesn’t want to make too many edits to the anti-superhero, there’s a good chance we might see more ads like this one, where Deadpool emulates painter Bob Ross. This version of Bob Ross is rather X-rated and has trouble painting trees. We love him anyway.
